4/12/2022 8:21am I'm 165lbs and run 210psi in my dpx2. I would think the frame's leverage ratio would play a role in determining how much pressure you need.

4/4/2022 5:10pm Sounds like the rear wheel may be worth upgrading, but if someone is happy with it and wants to upgrade the cassette only, it can be done. Garbaruk sells a 12spd, 11-52, HG cassette. It's not cheap but it is very light.

3/23/2022 11:31pm Thanks so much for the opportunity to chat Spomer. I’m so sorry for all you have gone through as well and I appreciate you being willing to share. I hope that people are able to come away from this with the understanding that we are all in the midst of such a complex situation and at the end of the day we should try to treat each other with compassion and understanding. Many of us have different life, political, and religious beliefs and that’s one of the things that makes the world so special. As long as we are able...

Great video! It doesn't explain why Sram's only reasonable brake is the top of the line Code though. I'll be sticking to my "terrible" mineral oil Shimano Saints until I can afford some Trickstuff Maximas.

3/12/2022 8:40pm I have a DH34 Bike Park on my rear wheel and it's not a proper DH casing. It's dual ply and wire bead, but the 27.5 is only 1200g. It's like the Double Down Dual Compound DHRII that Maxxis doesn't make. I'm expecting it to be a good summer tire and especially for the money -- $60 CAD!! -- but...

2/8/2022 4:54pm I worried about that for you already when designing, prototyping and testing. The shock is actually a strut (a shock and structural element combined), it uses sliding bushings, just like in your fork to manage side loads. And of course the frame will be properly aligned.

1/20/2022 9:09pm I have kind of decided it is the angle of backsweep on the leading edge and or kind of diamond shape outer edge that makes a pedal deflect nicely...not chamfering the front edge. The spank spikes, Canfield crampons, and these pnw pedals all have kind of a backswept leading and outer profile. The spikes really are the best I have found for deflecting nicely.

1/20/2022 6:06am Isn't it funny, the Vaults have a pronounced chamfer that should slide off things easily but they do seem to halt more. Coming off Oneup comps I had assumed it was down to material and thickness, but could it actually be the leading edge converting forward momentum into lifting (and stopping) me?! If so, that's my actual complaint moreso than the frequency of strikes.
