Hey so new bike has DPX2 Evol rear shock. My first set of Fox suspension components, I put my weight 195lbs in as starting PSI and 50 percent sag , kept adding and adding ( I did release all air and start from scratch at one point)
So to get desired 25-30 percent sag I’m up to just over 250psi ?!?! Sound crazy or Correct?
Thanks

That sounds a little high but not crazy (Fox says ~1 psi/lb of body weight and I'm 140 and run mine at 175). Did you cycle the shock as you were inflating it?

I cycled it yes so you’re like the third person to say similar things so I feel more comfortable hearing that
Thanks

I'm 165lbs and run 210psi in my dpx2. I would think the frame's leverage ratio would play a role in determining how much pressure you need.
