First, Kyle, keep telling your story as long as you think it'll help others. No one can change what you experienced and how you experienced it.

But, a couple things you mentioned could easily be used against you. Avoiding them might help nullify some far left criticisms and help keep the far right from piggybacking on and politicizing your experience.

Maybe don't mention religious exemptions, especially regarding fetal stem cells. They were not used to create, and are not present in, the mRNA vaccines themselves, only in a small portion of the testing process. And the leaders of all major religions worldwide, from the Pope to imams to the Dalai Lama, have stated there is no religious reason to not get these vaccines, including that small use of fetal stem cells.

Be careful so casually mentioning that you know doctors who could and would just give a patient some custom treatment cocktail. Those cocktails may work, but they of course also have a potential for side-effects and reactions: anti-viral medications are quite powerful and have potential to greatly disrupt the immune system. And since those "custom cocktails" have not seen large scale double blind clinical trials (not sure how they could be if they're "custom"), taking them is just as risky, if not a more, than getting a thoroughly trialed treatment.

You mentioned someone who got the vaccine and had a very large concentration of the spike proteins, more than the average COVID infection, but that's the wrong comparison. More appropriate would be to compare to the average spike protein level caused by vaccination, not infection. Also, it makes perfect sense to assume someone who has a large and/or adverse immune-response to the spike-proteins created by the vaccine would also have a similar response to the (same) spike proteins caused by an infection. Plus the person with the actual infection also has to deal with fending off the actual virus. So it might be best to avoid that kind of speculation that the virus is equally or less dangerous than the vaccine for a given individual until further evidence has been shown.

And finally just be careful with assuming that correlation implies causation. It's very sad that your dad had a heart-attack and stroke, but that happening weeks after he got vaccinated is just correlation. (At least I don't recall you mentioning any evidence that it was directly caused by the vaccines) We lost my mother to a stroke after she went go-karting with some of her grandkids, but that is just correlation: no one is blaming go-karting for causing it. That would be like blaming one of the kids, as it's just coincidence as to who was there at the time. It was going to happen anyway, and it's actually slightly lucky it didn't happen an hour later when she was driving on the interstate: at least we got to see her (in a coma) and say goodbye, instead of being smashed up and gone in a crash.

Again, keep telling your story, no one can deny what actually happened to you. But just be wary of making assumptions and conclusions based on timing instead of scientific evidence. Remember that the same scientific methodology that is telling you about your current injury is the same methodology that discovered the virus, it's infection, and _all_ potential treatments.

And no one says "Get the vaccine, then you can't get COVID, can't die from COVID, can't spread COVID." You slipped that in there as why you were ok with getting the vaccine initially, and skated over it pretty quick, but if that was your worldview then no wonder that view was blown up, it was flat wrong.

I'll say it again, because it's important: keep telling your story, including/especially dealing with depression. I've also dealt with that, and I think a huge help for many people is just hearing that others have the same feelings, and are still here.

But also, there are some things that I totally understand why people why say sound like what a conspiracy but would say.

Breakthrough pain on opiates is nothing like breakthrough infections after vaccination. There seems to be a bit of a misunderstanding of how vaccines work. Every immune response is different (hence the injuries you've experienced and seen) and viruses continuously change, and that's why breakthrough infections occur. Breakthrough pain is your body literally becoming desensitized to the drug. Receptors get "clogged" or "worn out", and literally have a lesser reaction, hence the need for more drugs to get the same effect. If there is a need for a stronger vaccine, it isn't because the body is overstimulated, it's the exact opposite.

It's also interesting you focus on MIS and other injuries as being caused by the vaccine, when the vast majority of those injuries also occur in actual COVID infections. If a body is reacting to the spike protein in the vaccine, why would you assume it's going to react differently to an uncontrolled infection of the entire virus, spike protein and all. Yes, the vaccine has a chance of causing injuries, but the virus itself also has a chance of causing the same injuries, and more, and the virus spreads without consent and exponentially. I feel like it is disingenuous to imply that these injuries are only from the vaccine and would not have also likely occurred from a COVID infection. Maybe that was not your intention, but that's what it sounded like from this end.

I was disappointed when you mentioned corporate greed, and then told a story about the enormous cost of doing hyperbaric stuff and that you literally got compensated for bringing them more business (free sessions after referrals, that's compensation). Yes, it's a different scale, but it's all profit motivated, and arguing against corporate greed can be a slippery slope for a paid representative of various profit-driven corporations. Consider that the companies making vaccines could have pulled a Purdue and stalled on a vaccine and instead sold huge amounts of treatment drugs while letting the epidemic continue. Treating symptoms of an easily transmissible disease with often long-term effects is much more profitable than making a vaccine at government rates.

Just some thoughts about the things I heard that could inflame some ideologies and -isms. If it sounds like a personal attack, I apologize, not the intent. Only intention is taking in some helpful thoughts and returning back what is hopefully more helpful thoughts.

K: Thank you for understanding, I do think it is helping add to the discourse and will eventually be of benefit to everyone to understand certain things to screen for to help avoid further injuries. I completely understand what you are saying and appreciate you typing them out. I spent some time going through each one and trying to provide my reasoning and some sources. This might be the longest ever Vital comment so hopefully it turns out ok haha. I usually don’t reply to this stuff but I always say I welcome constructive criticism and you spent a lot of time on it over multiple days. I do have one big ask though, I can tell you are coming at this from a heavy point of bias and you are assuming I have the opposite bias. I just ask you to please read this with an open mind, and look at some of the sources. I am not against you by any means or with any one certain ideology. I am learning and am bound to make mistakes but I think you glossed over a few things I could pretty easily defend. Here goes nothing haha.

K: This first one Is hard for me to completely understand the view point coming from a background of growing up in California and being raised without religion and I totally understand where you are coming from. Trust me, this isn’t my hill to die on by any means. I just mention it because I have met many people over the last few months who are vehemently opposed to abortion and will not inject or consume anything that was developed with fetal stem cells in any way. Doing so in their eyes would be committing a major sin which would go against their religion.

You are 100% correct that the vaccines contain no traces of fetal stem cells. They were used in testing early on and the cell lines were apparently derived from a voluntary abortion in the 70’s / 80’s. That last sentence is a sticking point for some people. Again, not me, but even Reuters says that the claim “covid 19 vaccines does not contain aborted fetal cells” is partly false due to the semantics. Some people have strong beliefs about their God. That is literally the driving force behind everything they do in their life.

That doesn’t make them bad people. Or less than those that feel otherwise.

K: When you say “custom cocktail” you are doing so to imply that these drug prescriptions are done shoddily with black market drugs. The doctors I spoke of have all come together to form something called the FLCCC which has a protocol consisting of three repurposed drugs which are heavily tested (not in concerns to covid, but in regards to side effect profiles) , they are widely used in human populations, with established safe dosages, and considered safe by the world health organization.

The three drugs are Ivermectin, Hydroxychloroquine , and Prednisone. They would also sometimes prescribe vitamin D & Zinc if the patient was deficient. The doctors all went through years and years of medical training to learn how certain drugs react with each other and how they can be prescribed safely.

Regardless of how you feel about these drugs, these trained medical professionals ( over 2’000 in the alliance ) feel that they have been helping to save patients lives who have contracted covid, whether the patient was vaccinated or unvaccinated.

K: Just to clarify this point, I said that the young man produced 20x more spike protein antibodies than the average person should produce from the vaccine.

Johns Hopkins did a study on immunocompromised people ( who statistically have the highest risk of severe covid disease and death ) and they found that after receiving the vaccines that many of the immunocompromised people showed low or no detectable antibody response.

In contrast we in this react 19 group are seeing young healthy people with robust immune systems and no previous autoimmune issues ( statistically the lowest risk of contracting severe covid and death) develop 10x or 20x more antibodies than average and then developing severe autoimmune issues and also showing high levels of auto antibodies that were also produced in response to the huge amount of spike their bodies created post vaccine.

I understand what you are saying and how you could make the link between someone who had a vaccine injury being the most at risk for a severe case of covid but statistically that is not what we are seeing.

The main reason people develop severe covid is that their body can’t mount a response fast enough to slow down the viral replication and then you have a massive amount of virus present which is causing cell and tissue damage in the body.

Early studies show that immune compromised people are benefiting greatly from multiple doses of the shots and boosters, but for people with healthy immune systems or previous antibodies already present from natural infection the risk reward ratio changes drastically.

Again, I am not a doctor and many more studies need to be done but we are conducting and submitting trials in the React 19 group and it seems the vast majority of the more than 12k injured in our group were previously very healthy and active individuals, or people who had covid already and were ok and then had a severe reaction to the vaccine.

K: I am so sorry to hear about your mom and I can’t imagine how hard that would be to be there and see that happen. I also understand what you are trying to say about how go karting didn’t cause her stroke.

However my 53 year old dad was vaccinated on a Tuesday, his arm on the injection site side went numb that evening and remained numb and tingly for the remainder of the week. He felt really ill and groggy all weekend, and then on Monday 6 days after his shot he had a massive stroke and became a vegetable. His son (me) also had a severe life threatening reaction to the Pfizer shot, and one of the most common severe adverse reactions to the vaccine is pulmonary embolism and stroke.

What test would you like me to ask for to correlate this for you? I am genuinely curious. Do you have any suggestions? Would the doctor saying it seems like a vaccine reaction be enough? Or should we request a special spike protein diagnostic test? You wouldn’t believe how hard it is to get a firm diagnosis on this.

I understand when your mom passes away from go-karting, the go karting didn’t likely cause her death. When my dad is forced to take an injection after his son has a severe reaction and then becomes a vegetable from a massive stroke less than a week later, I think that’s worth mentioning.

K: “ Breakthrough Pain” in regards to Purdue Pharma is actually not what you described. Oxycontin was given a special label by the FDA because it was determined to be different from standard opiates due to a “12 Hour Time Release Coating” . The coating was supposed to slowly dissolve and allow the drugs dosage to be spread out in a sustained manner over a 12 hour time window. This meant that the drug only needed to be taken 2x per 24 hours and was supposed to be much harder to abuse.

This “less addictive FDA label” convinced many doctors to forgo much safer non opiod alternatives and prescribe this new “less addictive” drug. The only problem is that even early on in testing the oxycontin time release was not lasting 12 hours as the coating was dissolving too fast. Meaning that people needed to take more pills than they were allowed to be prescribed. This was a huge issue and created much more drug abuse than intended

Purdue Pharma came up with the term breakthrough pain as a marketing strategy to save their ass and keep their “less addictive label” . This ultimately led to the deaths of more than a million Americans over the last 20 years.

Years later the FDA repealed the special use label and granted Purdue a black box label. The FDA man who approved the “special use label” originally went on to work for the board of Purdue Pharma.
This comparison is in regards to the corruption at play, not the mechanisms in the body.

K: I kind of answered this earlier in the immunocompromised vs healthy responses. One of the MIT statisticians ( Retsef ) who testified in DC has a great paper on this. I am not a doctor so I am not trying to imply anything. I am not sure if you heard the part where I said that I worked with the Covid Long Hauler Doctors. The mechanism is the same almost. Minus the long term unknowns of the lipid nanoparticle and the fact someone made money doing it to you. New research is showing the nanoparticle is potentially spreading open the tight junctions in the heart and that is actually one of the reasons for the heart inflammation. If that is the case then the differences will be a little more apparent with long term data and testing. Many people are working on it.

K: I think historically criminal corporations ( https://www.findlaw.com/legalblogs/criminal-defense/pfizer-hit-with-lar… ) making billions of dollars a year, in an industry lobbying collectively 350+ million dollars a year to politicians is slightly different than an injured young man paying 10k out of pocket for 40 sessions of an un-patented clinical treatment ( HBOT ) at a local facility and then being given 3 additional sessions to catch up for being out sick twice during my two month period.

Also with your reasoning, the most profitable thing a company could do is lobby for sweeping mandates for a therapeutic they make that needs to be taken 2-3 times a year indefinitely at roughly $800 a dose. The vaccines made more than anything else in the entire pharmaceutical industry last year so your argument does’t really make any sense if you think about it.

K: It's totally fine and I appreciate the criticism and opportunity to rebuttal. I understand how hard it can be to break away from an ideology and to be honest I had a really hard time being more of a liberal my whole life and then being thrust into this situation and trying to fight for my life and everyone else in the group. I currently have no political or ideological affiliation that I am aware of and I think both sides are beholden to corporations in their own ways. I am always willing to learn more so if you have any suggestions let me know.

I think I spent like 45 minutes typing this out while April was driving to Sea Otter so I might not respond again but will read it for sure.

I'm not a biker so would've never found this - saw the info on Kyle's Insta. I was moved to tears hearing both your heartbreaking stories. Spomer, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Your father sounded like a remarkable man. Kyle - I can't thank you enough for shining the light on vaccine injuries and speaking up when you had so much to lose. I've started HBOT and have had amazing results thus far. I'm happily back to rock climbing, hiking, cooking, etc., again. Incredible. You are a compassionate warrior. Bless your heart.

I just want to thank you both for doing this. Kyle for all that you are doing to advocate for others and for putting yourself out there. Spomer for being willing to put yourself and you podcast out there to share both yours and Kyle's story.

It shouldn't be the case for you to feel like you are walking on eggshells in this scenario. We all as fellow human beings should welcome honest and open conversation with each other, but unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the world most of us find ourselves living in right now.

It's hard to hear about the loss and pain. It's refreshing to hear a couple of good humans demonstrate what a grown-up and nuanced understanding looks like.

Damn... Things went heavy real fast... Spomer, sorry for your loss...

Kyle, great to hear things have been improving for you.. Both mentally and physically.. I remember someone going off on you calling you an anti-vaxer on your IG and I was like "Did you miss the part where he got the shot?" I was also someone that encouraged you to step away from the social media and focus on yourself.. Keyboard courage brings out ugliness in people..

Keep telling your story.. One sided discussions are rarely productive.

Just finished listening to this podcast. AWESOME!

Kyle, I love your critical thinking and willingness to dive in and make sense of all the data that is out there. Too many people read headlines or captions and don't get the full story. I like your approach, your integrity, and your passion.

I'm glad Kyle gave an update on how April was doing through all this! She is amazing! So strong!

I'm in the medical profession as an eye doctor. Obviously I'm not an infectious disease expert, but I've had my share of education in that area... and let's face it, if you really want to, you can become very knowledgeable about ANYTHING without having to get a degree in it. The information is out there and Kyle has done a great job learning how to decipher it.

I've been vaccinated with Moderna X2. I didn't get the booster. I feel EXACTLY the same as Kyle on these issues. Fortunately no major problems with it. Thank you for being strong. Thank you for speaking out. Thank you for being fair. Thank you!

Tough topic, and of course Kyle's personal story and a couple of his anecdotal stories are disturbing.

It sucks that these news sources, just really can't be trusted. I've gotten to where I can't even watch the stuff. Cable news in particular is terrible for our society. Full of bias and inaccuracies.

I'm proudly pro-vaccination, but it infuriates me that your story has been censored at times. The truth will set us free.

Thanks so much for the opportunity to chat Spomer. I’m so sorry for all you have gone through as well and I appreciate you being willing to share. I hope that people are able to come away from this with the understanding that we are all in the midst of such a complex situation and at the end of the day we should try to treat each other with compassion and understanding. Many of us have different life, political, and religious beliefs and that’s one of the things that makes the world so special. As long as we are able to respect each other’s personal beliefs and treat one another with some form of respect then we will keep marching together towards progress.

My position this whole time has been one of raising awareness for those who have been effected and hoping to raise the question of “what happens when you do your part for society’s good and it goes wrong?” Is civic duty a two way street or is it one of those things we just ignore and sweep aside?

As people listening will hopefully see, I’m not politically affiliated or motivated, I have no financial interest in this issue, and I’m not deadest on everything I say being right. I’m just a guy who was thrust into a difficult situation, and while falling into that pit I discovered 10’s of thousands of other people trapped at the bottom. I tried to do my best to speak out and raise awareness at the expense of my own personal health and mental well being so some of them might be able to get help. I’m sure I have made some mistakes along the way, but I was always operating out of a place of compassion and never trying to manipulate or control others.

I wanna just say a huge thank you to everyone who listens and I hope no one ever has to experience the pain of loss from a disease like Covid or from anything else. Sorry for bringing a non bike issue to the website, we were really torn but enough people asked for it and we decided to give it a shot. Much love to the vital crew ❤️

Kyle, I am sorry for your vax side effects. But you and many who are crippled or worse ( i personally know 5 people who have died from vax clots resulting in strokes and heart attacks, one was today a coworker and what about Sonny Colbrelli in the Vuelta today? ) . If you want to be brave stop referring to it as "complex". You should be angry. These were not effective Vax's at best and intentionally meant to do harm at worst. Stop making excuses and hold the politicians, pharma and media responsible for misleading you. I knew what they were meant to do and refused to get it. My decision in retrospect appears to be the correct one. .

chasejj, to be blunt, I don't believe that you personally know 5 people that have died from Vax injuries. Get out of here with that crap.
What is a fact is that I personally knew 4 people that died from Covid that were unvaccinated, and another 30+ through 2 degrees of separation.

Today I rode with 2 close friends that chose to go unvaccinated and both dealt with covid.
One of them in particular is a heck of a bike handler and could effortlessly put me on the trailer when it came to pedaling. The other I'd consider my biking equal. The former, 8 weeks post covid, his ability to pedal is really shot and leads to coughing. I sincerely hope they both fully regain their lung function, cause what I saw today severally limited their on bike enjoyment. They both called it quits after about 40 minutes, we usually ride for 2+ hours.

Chasejj, this is exactly why this information gets censored because people pass this kind of crap around.
If you are on a first name basis with 1000 people and 500 of them got vaccinated and 1% of them (5 as you claim) died from the vaccination, statistically that would mean 2.66 million Americans would have died from receiving both CV vaccination shots (266 million Americans are fully vaccinated).
Instead there are 6K actual American deaths from covid vaccinations, 1 million dead from covid, millions long term injured from actual covid.
Your claim is not only idiotic, but borderline dangerous because these sort of lies influence people to not get vaccinations and some will actually die as a result of this misinformation.

You're numbers in both categories are factually way off. If you are using even CDC bullshit numbers you are still way off. For perspective look at the UK and Israeli numbers which appear to be much more honest (surprisingly). UK just announced they are dropping any reporting of Vaers stats. Because they are shocking.
Go and look up the life insurance companies and see what is going on behind the scenes on death rate with the 25-49 Demo. I dare you. You'll see.

This is probably one of the best perspectives on the entire pandemic I have ever listened to anywhere. It blows me away to hear it here on a mountain bike site rather than somewhere like 60 Minutes. Thank you so much for sharing Kyle. Hopefully Kelly and I will get a chance to say hi at Sea Otter.

Thanks for being brave. I have a family member in the military dealing with cholestasis from the Vax. Happened on first dose. Went away. Then came back after booster, been months and still there. It’s wrecking his quality of life with constant pain and itchiness.
