Lee from Ride 886 here. A primary goal when designing the TopHat was to address what we felt were limitations with the products currently available aftermarket. Namely, reducing unnecessary internal volume as much as possible, adding additional tuning option that are decoupled from the pressure ratio, purposely not designing around a predetermined ratio or theoretical spring curve, creating a modular design that can be adapted cheaply to a new fork purchase whenever possible, adding value for customers by manufacturing and including a quality installation/removal tool, including replacement seals and publishing all other o-ring specs, building a robust website with easy...

The fact that those bottles were in peoples mouths to get them open scares the heck out of me as a wine professional. Also says a lot for whoever made those bubbles. If someone can get a screen shot, let me know. Not going to carry that product, must have only been like 2 atmospheres of pressure in those bottles. Come on promoter, use some of your leverage to get solid bottles, bigger bottles don’t always mean better.. or had they been sitting at the restaurant for a few years? Go Anna and Finn!!

Downtime mentioned how widespread the breeden bar ends are becoming, with people like Bruni, Pierron and many many others using them. Owning a pair, having recovered from 2 broken hands (left then right) in 3 years, I've found they definitely live up to the hype and really helped with arm pump and security of my weak hands on the bars. The bar ends are a much more interesting innovation than I originally expected, because they significantly change the biomechanics of the upper-body while riding. Stopped by the Orbea pits this weekend and they've cut grips down (pretty sure it was...

Yesterday I spoke with a guy who rode a couple of EDRs and would always ride xtr mech since forever but he was on a sram. He said not only the chain slap was unbearable on the new di2 xtr but he would also drop chains pretty much daily, to the extend the top of his crank which cought the chain became all scratched... The shifting was absolutely amazing but the reliability is horrible and he also noticed shimano sponsored enduro pros would run full dh chain tensioners or STFUs just to keep the chain on, which is mindboggling how...

Hot take: Every bike should come equipped with a non-contacting chain retention device and the derailleur should simply shift gears and take up tension. I'm excited to see how the dual spring clutch pans out as I run a guide on all of my bikes and would rather not have a creaky, friction laded device that is already redundant for...

Not trying to be argumentative but I do completely disagree with that first point. Quake... MAYBE, but anybody wanting to race I think will look elsewhere. The bottlerocket is blatantly marketed as not a race bike. I guess the status DH isn't talked about but I think its a sleeper sick bike. Maybe because there's one at my LBS that's for sale for 3k out the door. The industry needs as many cheap aluminum double crown bikes as it can handle. Bike park laps on these types of bikes is in my opinion the purest form of the sport. Just...

The serial number on the pic can be read as "1270890-0002-T" which translates to Description: Bomber Z2, 29in, Marzocchi, 130, RAIL 2.0, Sweep-Adj, Shiny Blk, Neutral/Gloss Blk Logo, 15QRx110, 1.5 T, 58HT, 44mm Rake, YG, AM I suppose the lowers might be from something else.

They're starting a company and building a factory to get to 30 million electric motors per year by 2030? Per year? 30 million? Is this a joke? Should that be billion? I work for a moderately small automotive supplier in freaking Slovenia and we probably make more than a million electric motors from our designs, by components, in a year. I'm not taking into account all the small DC motors from the likes of Johnson which are a commodity. I'm talking about stepper motors and BLDC drives that are similar to what's in ebike drives. Is the state of manufacturing...
