Cody Kelley off Alchemy bikes

Clif will be on Specialized for 2020. Katka is already racing a Crux in the CXWC.

Marcelo Gutierrez not racing in 2020 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KOhzukGXwN4

He's a youtuber now. Following the money. Dropped by Fox, and ends up on Haibike dirtjumping emachines.

Sofia Gomez Villafane off Pivot/Stans XC. She had some good results domestically last year, will be interesting to see what’s next going into the Olympic year. I’m not sure what the selection process is for Argentina but I think she is probably a sure pick. Re: The fmd Insta post - I didn’t read that as royal racing but as British royalty, hence Peaty.

Dean Lucas has trolled the vital rumors thread more than once before, btw.

Good to hear Pivot’s road program will remain unchanged. 😉

Does anyone actually care about Lopes anymore?

For the record, I am a college math dropout. Ordinary differential equations is what got me. I really thought that I had it the second time, but a tougher prof thought otherwise.

As I said, youth program.

Did you get bit by a tick or something?

"triggered" is right, holy smokes man. Prediction: Canadian jrs continue to crush it with minimal factory support.

This gets brought up constantly and it makes me cringe. Here is how I see this... A helmet ought to be able to withstand "normal use". EG, if you drop it (without your head in it) off your tailgate or similar. Outside of that, any hit that rings your bell = new helmet. My opinion is very simple. I want the absolute best protection in the event I do hit my head. Giving an engineer the ability to build a helmet that is "designed to fail" seems the only option if our goal is ultimate performance, especially in a sport...

it's the kind of commitment to a rider from a team the sport needs. One of the reasons santa cruz is so well respected. When they hire someone, they're in it for the long haul.

Greg and the longest contract of history?

If you wanna keep things quiet it´s actually a rather logical move. I mean, having an unknown but fast rider on the other side of the planet test your bike is as low key as it gets while ensuring to put the thing through real world conditions. Him being a specialized sponsored rider, even though only localy, ensures he´s got experience on the previous bike and can comment on improvments and differences. It is probably not too far fetched to expect spec development to reach out to their distributors in order to get some fast guy on their newest frame...

Those juicy EWS rumors like "________ is going to be a dad mid season!"

If you had been quicker, I would have linked to Vital
