If she returns to international racing in 2019, then women's XC will be the most exciting cycling discipline to watch, hands down.

So I also don't think there is any warranty that Neko has a spot on whatever team Gwin will be on. And while I have zero concerns for Gwin and if he ends up in a good place, I really really REALLY wish the lesser hyped guys like Neko to find a program and do well and continue racing.
