I think, at least concerning Geniuses, it's just the NUDE nature of the shock with the dual chamber arrangement and remote lockout and the like, that's what makes it special. The issue as I see it is that "freeride" just isn't synonymous with competition. Making it into one takes away from the entire ethos of the sport. The fest series is really onto something and taps into what the sport is all about at its core (riding with your buds and pushing your limits... for YOU not anybody else). Rampage's only purpose is to commercialize the sport and give these guys a platform that companies will pay them for. It's an obligatory means to a paycheck, a way for these guys to live the dream, a necessary evil.

'Democrats, or Republicans' was not mentioned. I hope you do see the relevance of the cost of cycling goods to a cycling site though. News that will most likely affect everyone should just be seen as that, news, not bias. Plus, this article had good arguments for and against, which should be the standard of quality news. Better to be educated than insulated.

“Refined” still only clears a 2.4 out back, reach is truthfully a size short, seat tube is still 1-2* too slack as well as 1”+ too long, and if they’d dropped a degree off the head angle they would have opened up better doors for shorter offset forks....bike still hits the target but is def no bullseye
