Yeah, I don't disagree. I unsubscribed from his YT channel earlier this year as I got tired of his presenting style and the videos increasingly becoming more about his dog than the riding. Having said that plenty of people seem to love it. FWIW I met him years ago and in the brief chat we had he seemed personable enough. I wish him no ill will, it's just not for me.

I wouldn’t read into it much. Pivot/bernard have plenty of opportunity in plenty of spaces. Masters Walker Masters podium was one of the truly great enduro moments. Race winner. Fan favorite. Not many of those guys left in enduro.

2.5 TC here as well, averaging 23.5 mpg driving a little too fast with lots of hills on the freeway. Not awesome but better than anything other than hybrid minivan. I looked into it, the Metris is a chunk thirstier. I put on a 30mm front lift and beefier tires which makes forest roads easy. 7' x 2' plywood as a bed platform sitting on those black-and-yellow bins from HomeDepot, paired with a long Foamma 5" thick pad. Great little bed for a 6'2" guy with minimal fuss and easy to store. Fits my chonky XL enduro bike with tall...

American here so I have a town and country and contrary to popular belief it doesn't actually suck. I get 25-30mpg definitely on the high end if I'm not city driving. It's good for camping, I can fit bikes and sleep inside if I want. The stow and go seats are actually super convenient even if I keep them down 95% of the time. Can load up multiple people and bikes with just the middle seats up. It gets around in the snow pretty good for what it is and I've two tracked mine more than most and it pulls...

If you know of any streams or rivers along the way a pocket sized water filter can save you from humping all your water the whole way. Not racing situations but Chilcotins and LOTS rides are now 1/4 full bladder and/or just a water bottle with top ups along the way. https://cascadedesigns.com/en-ca/products/quickdraw-filter Edit- didnt answer your question at all, also on the 2012 dakine pack but I'll do anything not to wear anything on my back if I can help it

Track looked so sick! J.T. was killing it on the trail bike, and I loved the lost shoe at 5:43 and homie running it into the finish line near the end. Stoked there's a new legit DH venue in the NW. And nice vid, Matt!

Jonathan Helly just keeps winning on the 2024 WAO prototype DH bike. Now he's the latest Canadian DH National Champion, and took last (3) Dunbar series races in a row. It would certainly be in consideration for "the" hot new DH bike of the year if only WAO was on the World Cup circuit, still making frames and made it available to the public... Oh what could have been.
