this might already be out here somewhere, but the 2025 Sight LT 170/160 is out

Seen a picture of a blue Norco with the HP-VPS layout rocking a zeb and coil rear shock, didn't think much of it at the time but it doesn't lineup with any of the current builds. Conclusion leads me to think it is a longer travel Sight?

I know there is a 2 year exclusivity for specialized and fox for the genie. I just can’t remember what they said happens after that. It could be that speci will loop rockshox in at that point, so we could theoretically be seeing or will see a rockshox genie either being tested or going to market. Again, I can’t remember how the speci/fox genie exclusivity thing works

That's the Linear XL air can that's been out for a while.

It was a couple years back. They didn't creak, but the ramp teeth had worn down to nubs and shift quality had deteriorated dramatically. The drivetrain was setup by a shop, so theoretically it was installed correctly. Shimano warrantied both of them then I sold the system to go bleep bloop.

If the rivets are loose causing creaking, Shimano will warranty them. Remember, three years on XTR stuff!

Are these "worn out in less than 200 miles" XTR cassettes in the room with us right now? They can creak, especially he earliest ones, but I've put thousands of miles on these and don't find they wear differently than any other cassette.

The focus of this being the way they wrote the number 4 which is still a bit different and not focused on the caliper itself which is completely different is kind of funny. When are we gonna start talking about what color crayons taste best cause i feel like we are getting pretty close?

I didn’t know what you were trying to show in the photos until I scrolled further down and you said 4, but even that is designed differently. The bottom and right ends are square on the Lewis and the cut throughs are in different locations.

You're right, I wrote that like it was a comparison, didn't mean it to sound that way... And even if I did, you're right it's not valid. I haven't been able to find photos of the system you guys were using. I did assume here it was zs56/66. Transition always has a handful of frame details that seem to be finished with an "eh, good enough" type of mentality. That for sure hasn't been my experience with rocky mountains. I assume you guys chose better then transition did. Still, I'm a little bummed to have ended up with a bike...

Prototype aluminum norco range. The oval headset from the Aurum HSP would be awesome in a tapered fit. Mine has been solid since 2019. No ability to run an angleset unless someone made a one-off for the frame. EDIT: . No shit, when I had my first gen stumpy evo (in my sig) I would take a spare shock in my car because chances are the side loading would kill one. I wore the head on the shock mount bolt out from removing it so much lol Cane Creek still has a photo of me on their dartboard!

You're all missing the real solution when it comes to headsets and reach / angle adjust. We should just be making bikes that use an EC44/EC56 or EC56/EC56 headset. Simple and easy.
