11/18/2022 4:57pm $53 for set of allen keys? For less than $25, get the Craftsman ball-head 13pc set, and they'll replace them for free for life. Need SAE keys too? $22 will buy full sets of Metric & SAE allens from Bondhus, the company that invented the ball-head.

11/18/2022 4:22pm Wera has that same hex key set in a LONG silver polished color that I like way more. The reach on all of them is awesome compared to others. And you can find them some places for only $15 A buddy warmed me those color coatings peel and twist. https://www.kctool.com/wera-073594-hex-ball-end-hex-metric-l-key-clip-s…

10/23/2022 11:11pm T-MAC saying what so many of us are thinking: "Lots of frustration with this bobble towards the end of my first run that didn’t allow me to hit the last feature and get a clean one top to bottom. I wanted a second run really, really badly. I ran back up to the top ready to get redemption and when I got up there I was told there was a 30-45 minute TV break. We knew the wind was coming and I knew our window of good weather was shrinking with every minute that went by. I was pissed to...

10/5/2022 10:49pm lols 200g. The equivalent Commencal mid travel frame to my plastic one is over 1000g difference. I don’t care about the weight of this as it looks awesome but I’m guessing it’s up to a couple pounds heavier (900g) than a carbon xc rig.

10/5/2022 10:48pm I can't imagine a world where a dual link aluminum bike with struts on the rear triangle will ever be remotely competitive weight wise (at the top level) but it does look sweet.

9/24/2022 8:24pm while it's a noble gesture, The guys who are winning (and let's face it, there is really only 5 of them) are most likely adequately compensated. But perhaps take that money and give it to the top 3 privateers via Wyn Masters privateer of the week award. That would be a much better use of funds IMO.

9/24/2022 8:24pm I recall this very issue being brought up in 2019. It seems no headway has been made. Perhaps with the rider's union coming together, they can leverage the UCI to update its business model and contribute toward the prize money.

9/24/2022 8:23pm As long as UCI makes money off athletes performance, they owe a prize purse that is comparable to the UCI's income from that race. If they make thousands, they should pay a purse that is in the hundreds, if it is millions they should pay thousands, and if it's in the billions they should pay millions. Nobody watches a UCI event so they can witness a bunch of suites debate rule changes, they watch the athletes race. UCI owes its existence to the racers first and foremost, so the racers should be the ones making the most money.

9/24/2022 8:22pm You are a little mistaken on how the World Cup prize money system works, At world cups it's the local organizer that pays the prize money, not the UCI. World Champs is different, there it's the UCI that pay out. However, the UCI cover all the overall prize money for the season rankings (€10,000 for first place) But it's local organizers that have to budget for prize money etc... for each individual World Cup round. The problem then is that the UCIs business model is terrible, So blame lies at their feet. The prize money amounts haven't increased in a...

9/12/2022 12:23am Schroeder, so here is the thing with HardLine. The guys at it...the format appeals to them. Bruni, Vergier, Gwi & several other World Cuppers...they are 100% DH racers in style, form and mentality. The format isn't as much of a life/death risk to the crew at this event. They have the mentality that suits the features of this track. You & I are viewing it through a different perspective. The guys at this event are the risk takers of the sport whether this event existed or not. They'd be out someplace else hunting this same rush if they weren't at...

8/23/2022 8:32pm And GX/NX creak and shift like crap. SRAM had better get this right, current X01/XX1 cassette design is silent & incredibly long-wearing (got 5000mi+ out of my last three). They can't afford any losses on either front given incredible shifting performance of new Shimano.

8/23/2022 8:23pm Also eliminates play at the main mount point which gets amplified at the upper pulley due to leverage. Not super stoked on it unless they have figured out how to make the mount bend/break in a crash or impact though.
