Actual weight of this fork? Do you drop weight by going w/ simpler RC2 damper? You make weight a bullet point in pros/cons but then don't list it in the specs.

Printing claimed weights in a review discredits the independence & objectivity of said review. Digital scales accurate to +/-1g are $30: there is no excuse for a bike scribe not to have one.

11/13/2017 12:58am Some good beta here on Eagle durability, but scratching my head over why all commenters above assume that SRAM chainring use is necessary, or even desirable given their track record & absurd $100+ asking price. When narrow-wide rings by RaceFace, etc. are compatible with the internal spacing of Eagle chains, function flawlessly, & can be had for $50, why bother...

Smith's snow division makes helmets that look as good as they perform, but their foray into bike lid design has been one, big rolling train wreck. Bizarre, alien-dork profiles stuffed w/ Koroyd that doesn't cross ventilate worth a damn = dysfunctional & FUGLY.
