FSA has reducer races for that. 1.8 bearing to 1.5 steerer. Reach out to them. Designed for their headset but might work with others. But they definitely make them.

I'd counter that 26/27 is within the range of average pressures. Pressure is pretty terrain-dependent, and while that might seem high for PNW conditions, 26/27 is pretty normal for many other areas.

Scott not designing its own bikes? That's crazy what I can read in the recent lines... The Spark looks like the Bold because it uses a similar layout. Period. Few things... Conti tyre release date: April 8th - Very little stock being spread world wide to begin with, major stock rolling in October/November New trek E-Bike: Lightweight trailbike spec, basically a Specialized Levo SL. Rolling out in a few months, no solid date as of now New Pinion "AXS": Currently in development with real world testing expected to take place from July. Benefits from this is that you'll be able to change gears without having to stop pedalling. Zerode DH Bike: Zerode are currently making a new DH bike, expecting it to come out in time for next season.

I just love how no matter what INTENSE does you all have some negative comments!!! How about this? How about we wait and see what happens?? What a novel idea!! If INTENSE did nothing you we say "great, another season same bike". If INTENSE creates something new "that thing is hideous and will be shit". How about we at the very least applaud the brand for trying something new? It takes a bold person to step out with a different approach AND this is DH racing, not like DH racing sells bikes? Unless AG, Seth or DAK do really well...

Nuance and context is difficult to determine on the internet especially when often people don’t put much an effort into making sure they aren’t taken the wrong way. I am as guilty as anyone else. In the current form it's a free market. If a rider/team prefers big bucks to big results, it's on them. As for F1 (and some other series), it's done that way to prevent a spending war. Back in the Bridgestone-Michelin wars Bridgestone was essentially making tires for Ferrari and them only with other teams adapting. That worked in the early 2000s days where there was unlimited testing (which helps if you own your own race track right besides the factory, so much so that Michael Schumacher reportedly took a helicopter from Monaco to Fiorano to try out a different car...
