2/29/2024 1:31am Just as an aside, congrats to Hugh McLeay (the i-Track guy) now that a brand as big as Norco is licensing his tech on two of their most popular models (Devinci and Trek can skirt around it, as the idler is still mounted to the swingarm).

2/29/2024 1:31am Stoked for Hugh, back in early 2000's and I was in a mIRC Aussie mtb group chat and he was coming up with suspension ideas back then, we were all thinking he was a lunatic but here we are. Dude is switched on as hell.

3/11/2022 2:17am I-track does not deal with pivot height. The I-track patent covers having the idler on a suspension member that is not the front triangle or the swingarm in the case of a single pivot design. So it covers link mounted idlers on 4 and 6-bar suspension designs. Having the idler concentric to one of the pivots on the front triangle if I recall correctly means it's 'frame mounted', as is the case with the Range.

10/29/2018 4:09am Yeah, it's definitely an improvement for gravity riding. But the extra bar height and weight makes climbing a bit more challenging.

7/7/2018 6:50pm I'm so stoked that these types of bikes are dominating at the moment! Around eight years ago, I developed the method for calculating anti-squat for these types of suspension designs (swingarm mounted idlers). The calculations are completely different from how you would calculate it for a 'regular' drivetrain bike. As far as I can tell, nobody else had developed this method of calculating Anti-Squat, and there were just a couple of brands playing with the desgin (Corsair comes to mind). In 2012, I had my method implemented into the 'Linkage' bike analysis software, so that bike nerds across the world...
