The bike is not fun to ride in this setting. (setup for countershox but removed). Much more feedback to my hands and less planted bike. It felt like it was deflecting all the way down the trail. I did a test recording axle and bar movements with and without countershox. There is an article on PB that has all the graphs and results. https://www.pinkbike.com/news/first-look-countersycles-tuned-mass-dampe… I have no horse in the race, I’m just a rider who’s trying to make his bike feel awesome and enjoys testing. I’ve tried a lot of stuff on my bike that didn’t make a difference...

Yes they do. At least the Countershox one, as long as you have some bumps in it, it will work. Although I think the faster you go the more useful the effect is.

"We know our e-bike customers don't care or even know what VPP is so here's a bike that says SANTA CRUZ on it." (Am I too cynical?)

i mean, Trickstuff has done it themselves to get every brake in the market to analyze it and improve upon, although they came up with designs that look like nothing else, while i understand the reasoning behind Lewis copying Trickstuff, coming up with a "i'll copy your homework but change a few bits it's very poor taste and will never be supported by me. i'd rather spend double and get the real deal, let alone i've seen both in real life and the quality and finish on Trickstuff is like nothing else, i just wish they came out as a...

Sick ride! I love seeing that other people are still shredding this bike! I love mine and will be smashing bike park laps on it for years to come.

Hi everyone Yesterday, I received my trutune insert and managed to go for a short ride. The conditions weren't optimal: it was greasy and dark. Installation was super straight forward and quick. As advertised, it behaves like a token. The trutune does exactly what it said it would, it's quite mind boggling to me. It completely transformed the fork. Straight away, it felt way better 🥳 I did not hit a wall of progression in the mid stroke. I had to reduce the stack height, which I did not expect. I will need some more time to trust the fork...

next one that tells me that they're not a knock off gets a slap. regardless, for the price asked it would be really nice if they came with a Bite Point Adjustment tho, people shouldn't even think they need to do this

Little late to this but I finally ended up pulling the trigger on a set of T4 V4's after experimenting with Code RSC's (with and without cascade cams) and a variety of Shimano setups over the past season. I appreciated the modulation of SRAM but the lack of power made them useless on any serious race runs. Kinda the opposite for the Shimano's, constantly locking them up and still didn't have the end-stroke power for big park days. After finally calling it quits on a set of XT lever+Saint caliper+MTX red pads, I ordered a set of Hope's via my...

Fraezen copied Cascade chainguide/bashguard design with just a slightly different attaching plate so frame compatibility is better https://r2-bike.com/FRAEZEN-chainguide-FUEHRUNG-and-Bashguard-black-30-… So I can understand why Cascade would be angry/pissed when someone say their derailleur cage is a copy of Fraezen cage design.
