Sharp rocks and high speeds do damage. Here in Colorado on my trail bike with a tannus tubeless insert if I go any lower than 26f/29r I pinch flat and i'm at 185lbs. I run cushcore on my enduro bike which keeps me from puncturing but sometimes you just bend the rim instead.

Glad to hear the Rock Shox manuals are good and being used. There's a big team that puts a lot of effort into them.

Amongst a bunch of overpriced, mid-weight stems machined from a lump of average aluminium, overpriced mainly due to the name of the small-fry manufacturer that produced them, this thing uses processes that are proven to produce a stronger part and totally pushes the boundaries of weight and then lays out its test results and explains its shortcomings in the marketing blurb. Dope.

In a sea of overdesigned stems, this is a refreshingly clean change. The lock on spacer looks genuinely useful and costs a lot less than I expected from Bikeyoke too.

I'm not at all an e-bike advocate but looking at what they did doesn't really bother me. It's basically a sentinel with a motor. I could be wrong but I'm assuming that there wasn't a huge amount of cost involved in the design. It seems like all these manufacturers are hopping on the ebb boat because it makes them a shit load of money. If they are able to make some cash off this thing and dump it into still making sweet bikes, and paying cool riders, and making cool videos, then it seems like some pretty sound logic.

I mean, no one can really get inside Neko's head and say why, but I think it's pretty clear he didn't get along with the Intense bike that much. That being said: I think it's also pretty clear that Neko is a different breed and has a lot of interests alongside his racing. He definitely seems to have an entrepreneurial mindset and enjoys taking on diverse challenges. I know a lot of businessmen like him who are inspired by new challenges and new undertakings. So... while there may have been some negatives associated with Intense that inspired the decision, I...
