Regardless of what any of our opinions are on the Nine One, I want to say thanks for being so involved in this thread and wanting to communicate clearly and directly. ever thought of asking them directly? i heard that could help with answering questions. i don't think anyone in here was involved in the design process, so why are you expecting someone being able to answer that?

Absolutely this. Once you unleash a gaggle of hyper-loose DH pros on the track, it's a whole new ballgame. I for one think it looks great for racing...all that open space and tons of off-camber to separate the the riders, it'll be a lot harder than you might first think to put down a run at race pace here...

People said the same about Poland, but it really cut up and turned into a great track. This will probably shape up to be one of the most interesting races in modern DH. A new country, with a level playing field in terms of pit setup, on a track with more flat corners and tight tree line choice will mean we could see some dark horses really shine here. An unexpected good result at the first race of the season could really jumpstart the rest of their season and a career. That's what we all want, a cool story. Loic...

Over the years I've had Ohlins, literally every fox shock and fork, marzocchi, EXT storia, Vivid coil and air, Zebs and Push 11-6 and 9.1. The hover monocoque is incredible. Looking at trying the new fox X2. good things about it.

What are you comparing the shock to? I’ve just put the Infinity on and it shames the previous 38 so curious about the shock. Currently running the EXT ARMA.

It's not uncommon for the summit of Whiteface to be 10-15°F cooler than the base. The race course starts well under half the way up the mountain, so it shouldn't be affected too much, but it means there might be some cool shots with frost or dustings of snow at the top, and fall foliage at the bottom.

looks like great bike. similar in many ways to my fuel exe-I run a 160mm 38 fork ,with a 65mm stroke shock giving 152mm of rear travel and its mullet. the tq motor and battery are perfect for what I need,which is a bit of assistance whilst largely maintaining the handling characteristics of a non e bike.With a range extender i can still get 1400m of climbing if I ride moslty in eco and trail mode which is plenty enough for this old chook!
