I just gotta say, as far as mtb online community contributions to the lexicon go... crab link is way better then downcountry. Feels the right amount of "inside baseball" and too far out there for the masses to absorb.
Feel like this is going to be one of those if you know you know inside jokes for a long time to come. You guys should be satisfied with yourselves lol.
It’s full 27 for sure. My guess based on other samples/prototypes I’ve seen floating around is that the TR 11 is just going to be a longer travel mullet of this in the spire is going to be a shorter travel mullet version of this. Transition has a LOT of their bikes, overlapping and using the same parts to make things simple for their design team over in Taiwan. Seems like a smart move in today’s day and age to share parts with as many frames as possible.
R&D at Rockshox may not get the idea. But dimpling is less efficient when you could rib the fork for the riders pleasure. I dont know just my 2 cents.
I'm losing track of how I'm supposed to be riding my bike at this point, I don't think I stretch enough for this new-age tech
thanks to AI and forbidden for not giving the people in this forum thread credit for the term.
Scout is now advertised as a junior frame with nothing bigger than a medium (which is slightly smaller than your modem medium)
Based on dual crown compatible, Fest series, park lap, Rampage, freeride kinda riding from Nico Vink, Hannah B, Talus, and Jaxson, I have a hard time believing it's still a 150mm trail bike...
I will name a beer after it, and explain the origin via blog.
I guess we can all commiserate with artists' hatred of AI.
FREERIDE BIKES ARE BACK ON THE MENU BOIZ!
first the NS Soda, now this.
I'm imagining 27 inch front wheels/forks squared up all bloody like Stan Marsh: "i aint heard no bell!!"
Are they gonna go full gangster and offer a single speed no dropper model? Or just frame only for people who want such a thing?
I need a company to make a copy of the Dartmoor Jibbird over here, since I don't think I can just buy one in the US. Trying to think of what normal models I could bodge into a similar build. I shouldn't have given up on my Kona Process slope/slalom project
Free ride never left Maren makes a free ride bike commencal has made two free ride bikes. Transition technically made two free ride bikes if you count the patrol and the spire especially for the fact that both can be run in 27 five with no issues. The Santa Cruz nomad is another amazing free ride bike. YT. Propain specialized. Even track offers the session with the ability to run for 27. There’s countless other ones that and currently are available. To be honest, the most freeride thing you can do is take a bike like a patrol long stroke it and put two small wheels on it.
I’ve got to say this thing on Reese’s Gamux looks extremely terrible and a bit dangerous. The rest of the paddock is 3D printing these kinds of fairings, rotor guards etc. and Aon is out there looking like a high school project.
The bottle rocket and intense SS were way before they times bikes IMO
is this actually for real? how do the bolts not destroy his inner thighs? let alone the thought of it being a double-sided meat slicer if he falls off the back at all.
I hope he is joking and it was something for shipping the bike vs actually what they said it’s for.
Is there no tech inspection to get on track?
Click bait. Got to get the gram views to keep the team funded.
Put a diaper on it add some gaudy fairing and hope it makes vital pit bits.
He was riding with it today.
Any ideas on what’s in the front of Loris fork? Mass damper or weight?
Cateye computer sensor, shows top speed
He even upgraded to the wireless version..
Nah it’s just the new boxxer with that “linear xl” bulge thing, they’re just running backwards lowers. Works better under braking.
New Manitou shock as the reason for the diaper? Looks like it's the old single pivot frame otherwise...
kinda looks like all their other bikes - not that this is a bad thing.
Not sure I’d be taking a punt on it 😂
My guess for the dressing up of the Gamux is that honking great straight in the middle of the track, aero fairings by any other name won't get banned...
New Maxxis XC tyre out in the wild on other site
Interesting thought, to me looks like it could be some type of weight in a 3d printed sleeve.

is strava the ultimate stravahole?
