Awesome interview. Nice wok sspomer, really cool to hear straight from Aaron a raw explanation of the journey.

Literally two posts apart: "but at least it is better looking than the M29." "Shame, since that Cero m29 was one of the best looking bikes of the last 10 years" Beauty is in the eye of the bee holder, or something like that I guess.
Glad to see the IFR machine still rolling along, I don't think there are many founders that love DH racing as much as Jeff Steber. "Passion" is the most overused term I think we can all agree, but my god does he love racing and testing bikes and building frames and...more
That's not what he's advocating them for though - he says recovery days, in other words days when you want to stay in i1/i2, which an ebike is perfect for, having more freedom where you can ride on days when you need to restrict your HR. Where I live, it's all up or down, so in...more
I am no athlete or anything but I know a few (if that counts) base fitness is built by a constant BPM , not spikes like you talk about. That's why road training is good (or now, Ebike)
Bike of the Day May 12, 2019!
Apparently everyone forgot to tell these two nobodies that ebikes are only for losers and old fat guys. Haha
Seriously though, I've said it before and I'll say it again:
Percent of people who hate ebikes before they try one: ~100%
Percent of people who hate ebikes after they...more
This looks like a blast and 190BPM average over an hour, wow!

But if they dont come with a pro mechanic to strap them together with pre-mounted tires and lug them up to the start gate, I could be truly unprepared....
Kidding...trying to find something to cry about and that's all I got.
it can't "mostly" go to a single rider. the press release says there are "almost" 40 races total that are part of this program with money for DH, Enduro and/or XC available. not all 40 of these races offer all three disciplines, but even if they did, that would be...more
well thats sounds like a giving back
This is not a new concept and there are no "tricks", look up Team Green or KTM Cash, while this might be new to Mountain bike racing it has been in Moto and Street racing for decades. No one is being tricked into buying a bike, if you race and want to earn cash or prizes, Intense is paying for it. Four races in and $4,450 in cash and prizes have been claimed.

you mad that all your eye candy is in the 2nd pic?
This is campaign to pay grassroots and local riders. AG isn't eligible for the program because the rules state you have to have purchased an Intense bike, AG receives bikes as part of his contract with the frame company. World Cups are not part of the series that will be paid out, please look at the series that are being supported.

Well done Intense, good stuff.
Love it. To think that this frame is 2-3 years old, yet it is still a complete stand out geometry. Correct me if I am wrong, but apart from canfield brothers frames, its the shortest chain stays for any full sus bike? (Joint with the spider 275c for obvs reasons)
I would be tempted to run this with a 140mm 36 and a...more
