Loved the part about Product Launch Day - At a company I worked at we called Launch Day "Why We are Dicks Day" because we'd get to hear why we were dicks for not making three bottle cage mounting points, or for using Boost, or for not offering the bike in blue. =)

I am no athlete or anything but I know a few (if that counts) base fitness is built by a constant BPM , not spikes like you talk about. That's why road training is good (or now, Ebike)

Apparently everyone forgot to tell these two nobodies that ebikes are only for losers and old fat guys. Haha Seriously though, I've said it before and I'll say it again: Percent of people who hate ebikes before they try one: ~100% Percent of people who hate ebikes after they try one: ~0%

If CDale doesn't provide their own frames whether its something one-off or pre production I would expect to see him on a GT that's branded Cannondale. They're all under the same corporate umbrella after all.

I think JonJon is right with embargoes, but not in terms of months, maybe days. A lot of things need to come together for an announcement to be ready for an embargo, mainly sponsors. And I assume those are assembled until the very last minute.

Every journalist and content manager from all the big websites know the answers to all of this speculation already. Some for months in advance and are sitting on lots of embargoed press releases. Vital, Pinkbike, MTBNews, etc don't browse each other's forums to get "news" and the inside scoop, which often only relies on various rider's publicly available instagram postings anyway ;-) Most of the industry and fellow riders know where everyone is going months ahead of time but do they ever like to sit back and watch the guys who heard it from a friend of a friend of...

You sure act like you have it all figured out. What’s done is done. The governing bodies will enact the rules. The guy is fighting for his life. The other shit means fuck all at the moment. It’s just bikes. You can get all in an uproar when/if they try and race some day in a year or two

In my mind there is no reason why 45 or even 50mm seat tubes should not be a thing. With rear pivots and dropouts becoming ever wider each year, there is more space to fit in a wider seat tube. It's not like this would be a massive industry standard headache as shims could be easily manufactured and distributed. This would at least be a step in the right direction towards making longer travel dropper posts with better reliability a reality as there would be more space inside for thicker seals and most importantly, the actual "stanchion" of the post...
