That polygon is what I would buy at the 3500 price point if it were me. The build kit is pretty solid, that frame got pretty decent reviews in a few dh bike test groups. I would typically default to a new bike with the right no frills build kit over used if all else is equal. Fwiw, I think that 3,500 is typically the price point to get something decent that is economical in DH bike land. I find that in the 3k range, there is a whole host of bikes that I feel aren't as good as enduro/freeride...
