This is the first set of 155 cranks ive owned and ill probably use them for everything now. I really see no downsides. I haven’t had any issues with pedal strikes as far as i can remember. I weigh 185 and id pick the same spring rate again. I think you will be happy with the decision at your weight

Hey, shes a beast. Im pretty much mullet only so that was a no brainer for me. The coil feels great. I couldn’t be happier with the bike. I have been a transition fanboi for years and decided to try something else. Even with the main pivot issue..(just needs loctite) id buy the bike again in a heartbeat. I put the +5 headset cup in and for me, made a substantial difference in how i felt on the bike. Cheers and enjoy it!

Hey how you long the mullet setup on that bike? You liking that coil on there? I’m having the same bike in a medium built up, just got a few different components but have the same front and rear shocks and just curious to how she goes. Thanks

Depending on where you live, but my favorite used to be dropper posts and now is being approached by the timberbell. We have a ton of other trail users out and I can turn it on for the DH and most people I see are already off the trail having heard me coming long before I see them. I get 'thank yous' from people and in general, has done a ton to reduce my trail conflict in my area as they get more popular. Fight or flight is triggered when people are scared and by no longer scaring anybody on...

Here's a thought: don't rotate your tires. I used to do this, too, but then I realized my front tires lasted 2-3 times longer than rear tires. Now I replace rear tires when they're worn, and typically my front tire looks fine. As a bonus, this allows me to buy a harder compound/longer lasting rear tire. Right now I'm running a hard compound (Maxxis call it "dual compound") folding bead 2.5" DHF with a downhill casing in the rear, and it's a dream. Super stable in turns, durable in rocks, brakes good with its full center tread, but it rolls...
