Now that the Pivot prototype's been out in the open for a bit, I decided to review the available shots/footage of the Spesh prototype and I am almost certain there's no concentric link to the BB. There's just no clearance from what I can see, and having tried all sorts of weird link configurations in Linkage (including a six-bar one that essentially acted like the old Demo with a completely forward axle path) it just doesn't make sense in any layout. What does make sense to me is those three bolts indicating a modular BB, which I believe @paddydigital suggested...

This video brought me back to when I was still racing, and I remember following Dak in practice on multiple occasions and thinking, "I'm barely holding it together through these sections, and he just did the sickest table like it was nothing" The track looks fast and fun. Going to be a tight race.

The demo he’s on is a custom size for him, I can’t see him jumping on the new frame design this season, he clearly has something that works for him. and the next race is this weekend….. so unless he has already been testing the new bike in the background, then I can’t see it happening. I also heard that even the prototype of the new frames work costly, not that would be a problem to a company like specialized. But Loic stuck to the old frame last season when Finn was already on it, to me that indicates that...

I know guys who say the exact opposite and your bars shouldn't be higher than your saddle. IMO its irrelevant and they shouldn't be compared. It is going to be affected by your specific combination of height, limb length, reach/stack and the relative proportions of each. I started bringing my bars higher a while ago, but I have proportionally long legs and arms so if I was to try bring them up above the seat it would mean siting bolt upright or stretching the front end out to a silly distance! Just go with whatever it takes to put your...

Yesterday on the tech rumours thread somebody stated that your bars should be at least as high as your saddle at full extension, otherwise they're probably too low if you're on a trail or enduro bike. I changed last year from a lower rise (15mm lower) bar and it certainly feels better, however, this struck me as quite a bold statement, as so much depends on the height of the rider and also to some extent, the bike you ride. Also I don't believe there's a magic bullet that will work for every rider, any more than there is with...

The start of this season suddenly went the way of Outdoor Motocross Nationals! Several other familiar riders are done that II've seen elsewhere. Back it down a notch fellas or there won't be anyone to pay.

I have an apple tv (the hardware, lil box) and had no problem finding GCN+ in the app store and grabbing it. Seems to work fine. Watched juniors today, watched the xc race the other week. No complaints

I wanted to send this as a PM, but you have them closed off. I'd be sparse with the details where you got the info from, you might get your friend in trouble. I doubt companies are happy that people outside their organisation or outside their control (NDAs, liabilities and stuff...) ride unreleased stuff...

It’s ok to think a steering thing is cool or silly without being a dick or getting philosophical about it lol.

I don't think it is particularly offensive or in poor taste, just not great marketing: There is no way I'm opening Vital at work (open space) while that ad pops up on my screen, and there is absolutely no way I would click on it.

YouTube video provides context the other ads lack. Not that it isn’t going to be a little offensive to some but it’s at least got a bit of humor and includes women other than their posterior. I’m not offended by any of it really but i had the same reaction thinking the banner ad was inappropriate and lame.

I've used their saddles, I've used their chamois/Bib, i've met a few people from this brand, all thumbs up in my experience. But, today seeing the takeover and little icons of g-string/etc asses all over my home page, it wasn't for me, especially as some of you said about a day when 2 incredible women riders dropped some great videos....I guess it's even more ironic the banner ad on the side of this forum topic is a kid selling overalls lol

Thanks for bringing this up, I'm hoping we can have a productive discussion and it doesn't devolve into "doesn't bother me/get over it/other industries do it too" etc. I don't know how much control Vital has over what ads they show but I gotta think they have the ability to push back a bit even they they can't afford to flat-out refuse a full homepage campaign. Hopefully someone who knows will chime in w/ a bit more detail. Edit: Here's SQ Labs contact form: https://sqlab-usa.com/pages/contact-us
