just curious - in this context did "highest selling" mean total number of units sold, or percentage of inventory sold?

Using seeding results isn’t a given and it’s up to the organization to tell the riders what will happen in case of cancellation. Seems like this wasn’t done. Seeding isn’t the same as qualifying, it’s more like timed training, and you would never use those results as finals

Weather happens, its an outdoor sport. Shame they can't have a contingency day but its very understandable why that is cost or logistically prohibitive. Been waiting weeks for this as there is not a lot going on to either watch or do in northern hemisphere winter currently. However... personally I'm not a fan of the "seeding results being final results"...

Matters very much and I’m in Canada. Heading over to see Ireland vs Wales in a few weeks.

Her girlfriend is Mathilde Gremaud, a Swiss freeskier (defending Olympic champion). So it makes sense that she is present at the event.

The fact it's on at the same time as the opening ceremony and week one of the Winter Olympics is also quite the joke hhahaha

Not to be a Karen. But WBD and UCI get consistent blame for killing enduro. But here we have some killer news, with world champs at THE iconic enduro venue and it has not made the slightest impact on here, the pink place or social media. Maybe Enduro is just settling into its post birth and boom place?

What’s weird is this tiny little corner of the internet sort of proves its own argument regarding Sam Hill. He may be, results wise, past it; but there’s still plenty of fans who love him and are interested in who is (or isn’t) sponsoring him even if that is limited to 2 races a year and a few instagram photos...

Obviously everyone has riders they watch and are interested in. Out of curiosity, who and what piques your interest? For me, the Norco revamp brought some fun into things. The portraits were ridiculous (and reminded me of the Royal Tennenbaums, which I love). Just... different. Regarding Brage, I'm about as opposite from a viking as you can get (full mennonite heritage over here. Pacifism and peace and farming and all that jazz). Not into the whole black metal thing, but his riding is so head and shoulder above anyone else in the free ride space, he's absolutely one of my...

It's less that they want a bike that works with x fork, and more that bikes with x travel work best for x style of riding. While there is now a lot more cross over in bike capabilities than there used to be, especially in the 130-160 mm rear travel area, there is good reason to design bespoke frames for each category. A lot of modular frames boil down to "we designed a bike with 160mm of rear travel, and the strength / weight that a bike like that needs, but you can use these other parts to reduce the...

I have noticed that a lot of bike genres are being defined by the suspension categories- frame makers want to make something that aligns with the Fox 36 SL, for example. So I think they'll continue to aim for that 120-130 rear travel section of the market with the Tallboy. The modular frame approach is going to continue. It means less molds and tooling, fewer SKUs and easier warranty repairs. I think in a few years it will be uncommon to see "bespoke" frame designs for different bike categories. Basically, what Trek did with the latest Fuel lineup will be...
