Oh, I can't believe I left this one out... how about integrated headsets. Pressed in headset cups really help with owner quality of life and the ability to modernize a frame a bit and extend the life expectancy. I haven't had issues with head tube's creaking and pressed in headset cups since the early 00's. I guess maybe integrated headsets are the standard because it allows shorter head tubes and lower stack heights on smaller sizes... but there have been a few frames in my past ownership journey that I would have kept for another 1-2 years if I could...

I forgot about Centerlock! I hate that too, mostly because there's no way to tighten them trailside if they were to get loose. Granted, I've never had one come loose but I hate the idea that they require a tool too large to fit on a multi-tool.

15mm fork axles. Bring back 20mm for single crown (Intend leading the way there as ever) Everything else I can live with (for the most part) as there are always several options to chose from.

1/29/2024 6:31pm I have 3 Shimano derailleurs on different bike with sticking clutches and not that many K's on each but I haven't taken any apart and done a full service with the correct grease yet so that's really on me. I do prefer the adjustable tension of the Shimano as the one Sram derailleur I've owned was an 11 speed x01...

Any chance these are just old clips and photos? It appears as though he is still wearing the Intense branded Thor gear, and those look like TRP brakes? Possibly an M1 under there in pre production form from last winter?

I'd personally doubt energy drinks will ever be equivalent to cigarettes as there is no such thing as a healthy amount of tobacco use while but having an energy drink once a week isn't really unhealthy. And sure much like alcohol the vast majority of energy drinks are bought and consumed by those with an unhealthy habit I doubt either will ever be culturally unacceptable the same way cigarettes have. I think the main issue really is the lack of hustle on behalf of the top of the sports management circles. With how often MTB is used to sell product...
