I am not excited by this. Dak was doing well on Devinci and then even better on YT. Took some great finishes on both frames and then won the USDH sleeve. I hope that continues but I honestly think that it will not. THe bike seems to suck

Interesting take in the opening paragraph "Although it’s unclear whether course designs changed to accommodate 29”-wheeled bikes, or their relentlessly increasing difficulty naturally suits the larger wheels, one thing is for certain – the rider needs an entirely different steed to what was once enough." Not sure if this aimed at world cup tracks or like a national series, but I kind of laughed. Sweet bike nonetheless!

Doing that will greatly affect (lower!) the antisquat characteristics of the bike. To put it directly, it will bob to the moon and back. Like Big Bird mentioned, if you are going to make it, make it _THICC_. Billet aluminium, as thick as it can be between the tab and the chainring, fill any space between the chainring and the frame/swingarm, etc. The bike is carbon and doesn't have many useable bolts close by (shock mounts and/or pivots), so it will be hard to use any of those. The main differentiator in the above point is the main pivot. Honestly...

There seems to be a pretty high correlation between use of "acoustic/analog bikes" and That Guy who shows up to group rides as the only ebike, or rides his ebike in areas where its specifically prohibited. Inventing new jargon for old things on top of already annoying behavior is like doubling down on the annoying.
