This many Junior Women is the best thing happening to DH in the last few years, I remember the sad times of only a few per round, and it was not long ago.

measure fork sag 3 times in 3 minutes and you will get 3 different measurements. It's a reference point at best, but the best reference of all is a digital shock pump cut the thing off, trust me, it will eliminate a form of anxiety from your life.

That's what I thought. I bet it's basically the Ancillotti PullShock system under the cover. With the obvious difference that Specialized wanted a way to control the axle path a bit better, hence the HorstLink pivot. http://www.ancillotti.com/images/scarab3big.jpg

The curve on that graph is for the 50t not the usual 10-12t that most people put on pedal kickback graphs cause its much more relevant than pedal kickback in the climbing gears. Pedal kickback is generally less in the smaller cogs, it can be larger though on some really weird suspension designs.

TEAMROBOT Liked a comment about product review Review - Hustle Avery REMtech Magnetic Pedals

Dr. Bong Hit, PHD, I respectfully disagree. Until recently, World Cup DH racers were drilling out their shoes so they could run the cleats farther back than the stock shoe would allow, and that phenomenon only stopped because shoe companies started offering DH shoes with longer cleat slots. Everything I've seen and everyone I've talked to says that, overwhelmingly, clipped-in World Cup racers run their cleats slammed as far back as they go. For the flat pedal question, a quick google search of Sam Hill shows that he normally has his flat pedals pretty mid-foot. I don't know anything about...

Ummm... what? Curious where you heard that the modern MTB technique is to ride flat pedals on the balls of your feet. Don’t think I’ve heard that one yet.
