I’ve broken 3 Reserves over the past 3 years (one front and two rears within a month of each this summer). I’m pretty sure each of those failures also had some element of side impact, as well as just hitting very sharp rocks very hard in compressions (both rear wheel failures happened with Super Gravity casing tires and CushCore). Otherwise the performance of those wheels has been pretty solid, and I’m sure I would’ve gone through far more aluminum wheels/hoops during that time. I did have one issue with the warranty where Santa Cruz/Reserve essentially forgot about my warranty claim...

Gwin imo should of remained out. Hes not going to place well and he had the last almost 15 years to get a rainbow jersey. No disrespect but the jig is up.

Genuinely true. First mountain bike racing and riding got started in Marin County, and then the county made almost all singletrack off-limits to bikers... Then, despite the county's long hostility to riders (except the ones on horses), its high schools helped start the NorCal League, which became NICA--and now the school district wants to shut it down. It would be funny if it weren't so sad. [Edit: I'm an alum of one of those teams & plan to attend the meeting on the 25th]

The link says yes. The the cable entry's look in line with the '21 Troy as well The current spartan is also going on season 4 so the product cycle timeline makes sense that they'd be testing 2022's out in the world.

Hard to believe a new Evil, that is unless they are getting rid of Dave Wealgle's DELTA system. As for the similarities between the Wilson Proto, I do see a resemblance between the rear triangle of each bike (ignoring of course the shock layout).

maybe his square comment was a link to the pythagoras theorem. you know, the 2 sides of a rectengular triangle squared equals the third side squared. so the comment was meant for the triangle of the commencals rear end.

I had a feeling over the last few weeks of racing that might be the case. She's fought pretty hard the last few years to keep up to pompom, Rach and tahnee that with the new gen of top five ladies heating up it might be too much. The last few weeks of women's racing have been the best in recent memory with many from the top 10 putting down amazing runs and sending it.
