Moimoi off YT was the best thing to happen. Obviously not for his wallet I guess.
In his defense, getting paid for any amount of time vs not getting paid sounds pretty good even if leaves you in a position where you're somewhat unsure.
So maybe Markus Flossman can promise more money than Neko Mullaly. But you better take that check straight to the bank and cash it. I can see no...

I can see no other outcome than regret in 18 months.
As I understand it, Frameworks provided a frame so any amount of money would be more
Edit: I could find only one recent video of his that tags YT and it's the one in which he's riding with Texi, despite there being videos of him on his YT before and after that one. He doesn't list YT as a sponsor:
possible retiring for Danny an myriam the next year
I think the Spesh team is bringing a Junior and they either admit they dont want to have more than 3 riders (attention, resources or whatever)... or they just grow.. I am sure Loic did mention the announcement of a new rider at some point the last 2months.. and most people already know its QB.

They currently have 4 with Rosa Marie but Marcel Barrachina Navarro is listed as a rider as well

yes it's sure for Quentin Barbe, it's the new Bruni ! but if i remember he is junior on 2028 ..
I seem to remember Danny Hart was on 2 year contract with an option for a 3rd .
I listened to the downtime podcast pre race show and they said that a few of the older more established riders who might be looking for a ride are struggling to find one as brands are focusing on signing up the latest wonder kid .
Trying to think of someone whose had a bit of a breakout season so far , Henry Madley has qualified for most of the finals I think , Nathan Pontvianne seems to be close to putting it all together .
Not sure where the open seats might be , if you look at the top teams their rosters are pretty stacked which just shows how deep the field is now in both the men's and women's .
Approximately same time than this engagement announcement - Frida shared ig post with pictures of summer break and with those pictures there was one with Gwyn packing Frameworks bike into box. I was wondering what this picture does in Frida's summer break collection. Could it be that Frida ditches that e-bike made DH and get's a ride at Frameworks?

I think that's more of a location based coincidence. Frameworks seems to like supporting the youngsters.
Sorry to re derail the topic (not actually sorry).
The top quintile for France, for total household consumption (all income, benefits, & public benefits) is about $49,000 USD. The 2nd highest quintile is about $38,000 USD.
The average household income for the LOWEST quintile in the United States is $35,000 a year. The second lowest is $50,000, slightly higher than France's top quintile. This is the quintile that includes all French millionaires and billionaires.
Keep in mind that the average household size in the United States is larger than France too.
The average price of gasoline in France, converted to USD per gallon, is over $8. People around here are complaining that the War in Iran has triggered gas to rise over $4 a gallon.
France is not comparable to the West Coast of the USA in disposable income. France's GDP per capita is lower than every single State but Mississippi.
Economics is not why France is dramatically overrepresented in racing. Its culture. A culture that I love (my dad grew up in France). Us American mountain bike enthusiasts have a lot to learn from the French.

I agree with your assertion, but there is something important to add too. Economics drives culture, and vice versa. There is a not insignificant portion of the population in the US that can't take risks, both physical and economic. A bad accident could put a family in generational medical debt, and you can't take half a year off to go race bikes, because then you won't have health insurance. This leads to a situation where young people that don't have significant financial backing from their parents cannot participate in bike racing. IIRC the Mallen brothers are an exception to this, where they work construction jobs to fund racing, but an exception does not disprove a rule.

There is no such thing as intergenerational medical debt. Catastrophic medical emergencies are very expensive, but EU residents aren't immune to this since those with means tend to leave the EU for medical treatment.
US workers do work more hours than their EU counterparts, this is true. But industry for industry, job for job, salary for salary, US workers make 2-3 times as much as their French counterparts. The Hedonic Wage model predicts that higher wage earners will work more hours, and that's what we see in this case (when you make more $ per hour, it's relatively more expensive to engage in leisure than just more work, and is this observed across many economic studies). The cultural differences likely play a part here too, I think us Americans work too much. Idk how much of any of this matters given that AI is going to seriously disrupt (cause massive unemployment) pretty much every single industry there is in both countries.
please no, pleeeease not YT.

possible retiring for Danny an myriam the next year
If both Danny and Myriam retire I'm going to miss them pretty hard when Wyn and Flo from Fast AF* do their track walk videos next year.
Ah yeah while we're at it let's give them a power couple name like Fahnee
Tinn

Tahnee looks for a rambunctious new teammate, not the man she already has.
Fihnee? That’s a tough one there!!😂
The square edged brand is looking for a dominant upcoming new blood....dropping some weight in the process

this topic is interesting. start a new thread for it, please. it's not team rumors stuff.
