In the case of Greenland this could be the right answer.
He mentioned in am ig post from yesterday some thoughts about life quality and balance as well as doing different intersting things in life.
I'm pretty shure he will quit the pure wc racing and be a freeride and hardline ambassador. Therefore Atherton could be the right place. Would love to see him stylin' the shit out of things.

Greenland follows one team on his IG and thats Mondraker.
Seems he follows Mondraker bikes..not the team. Assuming he followed them since his time on MS.
He also follows MS Racing..the team..I also assume from his time racing with them.
He also follows Unno bikes.
Don't think we can read too much into these
Could really see Laurie landing himself back on ms racing with his previous history and success with the team and ms going down two riders seems like the perfect rider and somewhere he knows he can preform and seems the right sort of level of team at the minute with the other riders within syndicate pushing higher results all be it he isn’t riding the way he wants to and precious results show that also

Unless Dak left Mondraker to find a bigger paycheck I don't see how Greenland ending up there makes sense. Nukeproof sure, Atherton doing kinda his own thing you bet, but the only way I see Mondraker trading one out for the other is if Dak left and they could pickup Greenland for less or the same money.

I don't disagree he obviously left, the question is did he leave to get a bigger check somewhere else, or did Mondraker not resign him because they wanted to spend that money on young talent like Clark. The answer to that answers the other questions.

He clearly did not leave by choice. Hope Mondraker forever regrets letting him go. Really hope he finds a company that will provide him with a great bike that is already "finished" and not another team developing for years just to drop out when the Bike is finally done. But more than that I hope he gets Paid! and I really hope has a great season.
