4/12/2026 3:15am Obviously it's meant to stiffen the caliper and give better lever feedback as a result, to me it looks very cool and smart design, surprised it hasn't been tried before.

2/2/2026 10:29am Sam Hill not even having an ambassador contract with a major company is actually shameful... The MTB industry really is in shambles.

1/7/2026 11:30pm I think we can stop the circle jerk and everyone pulling each others Dak’s. What a move for Jess Blewitt, such an opportunity to grow into an even more amazing racer

1/7/2026 11:44am If Dak goes to Scott, they better make him one of those stupid integrated stem / bar combos with 75 mm rise. And then run the brake cables through it just to stay on message.

1/5/2026 11:32pm If this is true, e*thirteen had better be scrambling to make some stronger wheels to stand up to both his and Ronan's brutality

12/15/2025 12:27am Try putting light tires on heavier wheelset.. Or here's taking it a to testing level.. Light tires, heavy wheels vs heavy tires with light wheels but try to get the weights close to each other. At point, my thoughts are that tires will play a bigger role in the handling and feel than the overall weight of the wheels..

12/13/2025 1:37am I'm surprised we don't talk about the weight difference between AXS stuff and cable more. I'm no weight weenie (36 lb alloy Norco Sight w 2 lb of lead), but I'm certainly not interested in adding unsprung mass to my bike when I can avoid it. Seems odd, especially on a DH bike where suspension sensitivity is the whole point. I just checked, and a 90 series rear mech is about a 100g lighter than a GX T-type (incl battery). Better yet, an XT 12-speed mechanical rear mech is another 110 grams lighter than the 90 series. Not totally against...

11/29/2025 1:55am Exactly, Thom Weisel / Lance Armstrong engaged in some pretty amazing insurance fraud in that manner, betting for and against themselves by rigging the game. I love re-watching the tapes from those depositions! But Gates, while they make decent parts for excavators and automobiles, has been trying for more than 15 years to get traction in the bike world. They never will though, because belts are incredibly stupid for the application, and universally despised by anyone who has ever dealt with them. Gearboxes with a chain? sign me up though!

11/27/2025 1:16am I'm curious to see the development curve on the 32in.. 29 had the interruption of 27.5 and a lot of years trying to make a 29er feel like a 26.. Maybe this time they address what the feel the strengths the 32 are and go at it.. Or, does history repeat itself and we get 30.5 for a minute? Then we end up at 32/30.5 mixed wheels..
