I have been watching Race Tapes and have listened to a PB pod with a couple of the crew from Beat Box. Clearly, they are going for the Drive to Survive documentary vibe. The new mondraker team is going to be fine. they have good suspensions (fox), good tires (maxxis), good geometry (proto bike has adjustment), lots of team support and staff. They have a race engineer and I’m sure they can modify the bike if needed. if the bikes antisquat is slightly off that is not going to ruin someone’s career.

Angel Suarez has fantastic technique and can hold some pretty insane pace. I think he's been on some higher-profile teams because people who know bike racing can see that this guy has potential.
