Hello Vital MTB Visitor,
We’re conducting a survey and would appreciate your input. Your answers will help Vital and the MTB industry better understand what riders like you want. Survey results will be used to recognize top brands. Make your voice heard!
Five lucky people will be selected at random to win a Vital MTB t-shirt.
Thanks in advance,

New e*thirteen Helix Race Alloy GR Cranks and Chainring
Helix Race Alloy GR Cranks
e*thirteen developed the Helix Race GR Cranks to meet the demands of downhill, big bike park laps, enduro, and freeride riders, engineered and tested with their World Cup and Enduro athletes for durability and performance in challenging conditions.
Working alongside our World Cup DH and Enduro athletes, e*thirteen engineered the new Helix Race GR Cranks. oneup drops wave flat pedal
Hopefully, they drop that stupid, massive inward bearing in the fact that you could feel the axle. This is one of the worst flat ever.
Their pre wave alloy? i've owned a set of those 'big bearing' pedals for years and i've probably put my foot on it once.
Regardless the answer to flat pedals is always the same.... go and buy clip pedals.
It's love it or hate it. I have three original ones in rotation, lent them out to friends, I've been running Outlier-esque prototypes for over a year (modular proto with a huge bulge) and they have been in rotation with friends as well and the bulge is 100 % a deal breaker or a non issue. There is no in between.
Exceeding ASTM standard, did something change and the standard now includes meaningful component testing values? As far as I'm aware the standard only categorises bike use and general speeds and jumps with no meaningful loads to test components with...
Idea is really cool but axle bump is not. Maybe next iteration they will finally fix that
I guess. Been on chromag scarabs since release. Never had an issue and they feel great to me. No need to change to a lesser quality design like this
Beauty!
They appear to be hiding something near the front axle...

interesting that it's not the other demo with the high mount chain.
appears to be a big ass brake. didn't doctor up the rear one
appears to be a different caliper a few pics later:
edit: the rotors in the first pic look like magura, second pic looks like a gustav maybe?
is that a can of crab meat? 🦀😂
This is from 2024 Worlds in Andorra.
To buttoned up for a proto for sure.
Should be available by June/July. From what I could gather you‘ll need a different axle size, hence hub.
Nothing official, date nor axle standard, just rumors…
They are doing another season on this thing? Aren't we due (overdue) for a production version of the Demo already.
Good catch. If the brake is blanked out in that first one, maybe it's because they're using different brakes this year? Time will tell.
If that was the case youd see a lot more low budget photoshopping on that post than just this one picture. Given that the bike looks to have a 3 piston caliper because of that size, Id say its a prototype of some sort. Or maybe an Öhlins integrated sensor or something.
They are my favorite pedals of all time, never noticed the bearing, and the slight convex i find helps my grip due to the middle pins. Was just using Spank Spoon while servicing and found the grip way worse, might just be my foot size and shape though.
Whatever it is I'll take a 5 year supply if it makes as fast as Loic.
that‘s an old pic from world champs 2024 with the old proto, that‘s also why there are magura brakes.
nothing new here.
That is some of the clumsiest photoshopping I've ever seen
I know there's already a bunch of info on it, but looks like Ritchie Rude was racing on the new Fox USD fork at the Squamish Enduro on the weekend.
Shocking lol
lot of fox athletes were, even jordi chose it
Spy ninja
Isn’t that just a Reign with data acquisition?
This came through my inbox this morning, and I figured at least a few water pack yielding individuals would find it interesting/practical. The Ai voice is also too much 😂 Kickstarter HERE
Fucking finally! Amirite?
Does nobody throw their bladders in the freezer between uses?
