Hello Vital MTB Visitor,
We’re conducting a survey and would appreciate your input. Your answers will help Vital and the MTB industry better understand what riders like you want. Survey results will be used to recognize top brands. Make your voice heard!
Five lucky people will be selected at random to win a Vital MTB t-shirt.
Thanks in advance,
The Vital MTB Crew
Not really the core information everyone here is after, but I really wonder what is the actual state of bike industry considering GT has let go every single rider from their bmx team...
based on things we're hearing, prob best for this thread - https://www.vitalmtb.com/forums/hub/will-more-companies-be-shutting-dow…
Welp. Doesn't sound like good news.
Pivot looking a bit light on numbers now , Bernard's trip for UCI points might not have been just for you tube views .
Any rumors about Camile Balanche ? I would have thought quite a few teams would be keen .
its possible its just a post olympics shake-up
Not sure where to post this so ill put it in here.
One to watch out for next year in junior, jonty Williamson from nz. Will be first year junior, ride with him a bit at the local and holy shit kid can absolutely rip. Results over here and cwx results make a statement aswell. https://www.instagram.com/jontywilliamson_2008?igsh=aGwzdXpmZDJiN3Ay
I'll keep him in mind for my fantasy team!
So with Jewetts going to Giant... Who is inline to take their spots on Pivot? And will Giant keep Meier Smith bros as well? Can't remember if the spreadsheet had them staying or going.
Spreadsheet has Remy going to Pivot, but Luke staying with Giant.
No clue but fwiw she's still riding a Commencal in her latest story...

Norco was the rumor, and I was pretty convinced of it. But if she is still riding a Commencal, either she is testing the Norco back to back against it. Or she is just running her own program with personal sponsors etc. Which could be a good option for Camille?
I think Remy to pivot would be great, he has a heap of untapped potential - doesn’t seem to get along with the Giant as well as he did Propain, or maybe its the more serious team, either way id be happy to see him find another home
The new pivot bike looks amazing but I wouldn’t want to join a team where there’s potential for the manager to try and fuck me
Only if you were a female….
Why am I imagining this in Danny Harts voice ?
Looks like GT is no more
So big question, do we see WynTV at races anymore, considering he lost his biggest sponsor with GT?
Unsure if it’s been mentioned yet, but Bernard and Jakob have unfollowed eachother on instagram. Oh the drama!
Without a doubt he will still be doing WynTV . Fundamental part of race weekends now
My 1st MTB was a brand new 1987 GT Avalanche Elite (the bike I'm on in my profile pic) that cost me $680 and I had to finance most of it at over 10% interest as a dumb 18yr old dude. I loved that bike and just recently donated it to a good home. GT will always have a special place in my heart and I hope they can return at some point in time.
hopefully Brage winds up with a good sponsor.
It's my fault guys, I bought my daughter a GT this month, of course they fold lol
He'll be at events for sure.
No, no, no. It's not your fault. Don't beat yourself up over it.
It's your daughter's fault. Blame her!
Hans Rey can finally retire though
So who's going to pay him to fly around the world to record WynTV now?
"Fundamental" isn't quite the right word, otherwise UCI or WBD would already be paying for it.
Super bummer news about GT if true, but I did actually lol when I read this.
Well that explains why I got my GT Grade Carbon for such a good price. Wow that sucks, I guess no warranty service.
Hans will just make a new video called “Trials and Tribulations.”
Too much incoherent babbling.
Is GT out of business?
