(i)f I were a team with a manager/director/non-riding member who was holding onto some points from last year, I'd have looked at that during the silly season Since this snippet of your rambling post literally makes zero-sense, your point drifts off into the ether. Kudos on choice of the word 'Mafia'. Kudos.

If you say it's strange moves, must be strange moves. To some it's a rider and a bike. Unless you penned his contract or are his sports agent, get over it and strangely move on.

SRAM Bassworm lured me back to mountain bike in 2004. 1) then I learned it was meant for grip shift. 2) had to be talked out of installing one since clutch deraileurs were eventually going to become a thing 3) instead fitted Jagwire (edit) Full Metal Jacket to the cable disk on an Iron Horse Smash a thumbs up on...

SLX and XT are both available in 165mm, but I don't think anything shorter than that works on the Shimano direct mount chainring standard. Hope uses their own standard. Canfield uses the old SRAM 3-bolt style chainring. Ethirteen uses its own standard. Appleman is traditional 4 bolt. 5Dev uses the SRAM 8-bolt standard. SRAM makes 155mm NX and X1 cranks (I think they're intended for kids bikes) but obviously those aren't compatible with Shimano direct mount rings. [Editor's note: NSB also makes 155mm cranks, using cinch standard chainrings, and RF just released 160mm cranks, also on the RF cinch standard...

There's not going to be an answer as to why lever-length changes work when applied to crank arms on a bicycle. It'd need to come down to a rider having found use of a certain heartrate threshold or a range of repeatable power-output and then what can be sustained given cranklengths. Some riders have no concept of physical conditioning outside...

Is only personal-gain for this one-man-show. Outward talk of course is actionable change within current economic times, yet is going to prove a long-game for current leaders this Oaf wants to impress. This is a person who only speaks about himself - every time, all the time. A penny in his pocket is our 'good' to his blinded eye. Tariff...

My GT story; In the years 2000-2001, I was working as a team technician and road manager for Schwinn Toyota RAV4 Racing, GT also was owned by Questor at the time. Our challenging experience began in August 2001 during a World Cup race in Arai, Japan. My company credit card was suddenly declined, and we started hearing rumors from the United States that Schwinn/GT was going bankrupt. Despite having our hotel pre-paid, we—myself and team members Elke, Leigh D, and Deldycke—found ourselves in a precarious situation. The office was giving us vague reassurances about potential loans and future payments, but...

Oh I've never found bike park runs to be something I couldn't live without water until the bottom of. You don't have to drink every 15 minutes. I am guilty of taking a camo bag cooler down first run and stashing in an area where the beer is available half way down. 😁 That said trail bikes should absolutely should have bottle bosses 100%. 170mm bikes are trail bikes even if they are burly ones. Not sure why people push the 170-180mm stuff as uplift only. They are not dh bikes, will never be, and are not intended to be.

I own those Roval Traverse HD and they are actually very good! The ride quality compares to Crank Brothers Synthesis carbon wheels with different front and rear carbon layup. People usually scoff at house brand wheels but I have been very happy with the 3 sets of Rovals I have for the different bikes. DT hubs, DT spokes, good rim layup and solid warranty to back it all up. In fact I had a set of the much hyped WeAreOne Union which felt like wooden planks in comparison.

More likely the sinking-rubber-raft than trying out the market. Plenty of MX shops already have had e-bike offerings alongside their respective motorcycle brands.
