So is Austin Dooley not National Champion?
I saw video on AG’s post of Dooley standing in 2nd w/ no champions jersey.
I know you can give a fastest time of the day at your own race, but how did Asa get “National Champion” in Pro?
They raced 17-18 Cat 1 meshed in with Pro so they were effectively in the same race. I think they first started running them together at national champs in 2021 so results before that do seem a little unfair as conditions change. There was a big hullabaloo about Logan Bingelli (Pro winner) and Neko Mulally (Junior but fastest of the weekend) in 2011 and who would wear the stripes and I think the UCI for some reason said it should Neko. The next year they included the rule on the books but they still ran juniors separately at National Champs. Juniors also still raced in elite at world cups until 2013 when the junior class was introduced.

So for the rest of the year, NO ONE in Elite will wear the US National Champion's sleeve? Asa is going to be racing Juniors for 2 more years.
Luca has to take the sleeve off & we just don't have a flag in World Cups until Asa ages in or someone gets it next year?
any idea if that's a new rule? thanks for the info, it's pretty clear/obvious.
last years Canadian Open DH at Crankworx Jakob Jewett won elite but Dane Jewett had the fast time of the day in U19 and is listed as the winner. Although Dane didn't get on the elite podium or prize money. At this years race, jr's were mixed into elite but had separate podiums. Matilda Melton won jr's and was 3rd in elite so had 2 podiums as well as getting the third place pro prize money. so that is new from last year and seems to be the case with certain UCI races going forward.
I've been told that the BME scheduled for this coming weekend in Idaho has been cancelled due to forest fires. However, I haven't seen an official post from them. If that's the case, they need to release information ASAP so people can cancel travel plans.
This came from a friend of my son's who was slated to race this weekend, and he said it was cancelled. That being said: maybe my son was confused and the friend's just cancelled their plans to attend due to forest fires as surely BME would have released information on their socials if it was cancelled.
Asa would run the sleeve in juniors tho? Just like Kiefer did for Germany as someone else noted.
Awesome for Asa during Junior finals. Not so much for #merica pride come Elite finals. I've always loved the National Champion's sleeve for race runs. Pleasant reminder that this rider or that owned the boys once a year. If they race separate at World Cups, there should be a sleeve for each.
These videos are so valuable to the state of #USDH. Thank you everyone involved! My quick notes watching:
- Commentator crew and production is dialed, and so hyped to have our dog Griz chopping it up in the booth.
- Sweet 'fun facts' during race runs. So polished and pro.
- I wish the track was longer, but damn, does it make for intense racing.
- The UCI rule about fastest time of day juniors wearing elite sleeve is wack IMO. I'd like to still see national sleeves in each category at World Cups.
- Anna is hauling this year. Can't wait to see how she goes at the 3 remaining World events.
- Luca's E.T. whip on the finish line was "chefs kiss"

Why? Asa is the national champ. Why should someone else wear what is his

there's a fire that sparked up yesterday near tamarack, so the news is probably pretty new to everyone. this morning there was ash on our car and we're two hours away the fire/venue. i'd guess they're trying to sort things out. there are also two other fires in the vicinity. the X is where tamarack is. - https://zoom.earth/maps/satellite-hd/#view=44.57043,-116.0033,9z/date=2…

Pretty much everyone is there, probably the biggest european champs in history, I guess big summer race void and next years world champs can do that...
Ben, is it the whole track as in past WC races or do they finish at the road crossing?

Whole track as in past WC races, the bridge over the road (and the bottom section) have been rebuilt.
@buckoW at the end of that footbridge, would you consider bolting a wood 4x4 wood at a 45 degree angle on the ground to make a "berm/curb" to stop riders back wheels from stepping out and off the edge of the platform when they turn 90 degrees down that rubber mat?
Message from YT regarding Jack Moir below - get well soon Jack!
August 9th, 2024 – We are sad to announce that earlier this month Jack Moir has broken his collarbone during a training ride at home in Australia. Unfortunately, this puts Jack out of the upcoming Enduro World Champs and remainder of the season. YT Industries is committed to support him throughout this period until he is fully recovered, and we can’t wait to welcome Jack back to his winning ways next season.
“Devastated to be missing the first Enduro World Champs after breaking my collarbone. I’m currently at home having some time off, resting and recovering after a hard year. Hopefully you’ll see me back on the bike in 6 weeks, starting the rebuild for next season. Thanks to all my sponsors and fans for the ongoing support.”– Jack Moir, YT MOB Athlete
Dannys track preview. Looks insane. Its the steepest track I've ever ridden (one of those that any camera will never do justice), with this wide taping its literally going straight down the mountain, lines looks crazy. Amazing job Ben!
this is the rest of the line in the rule book, so I assume it's been around since 2012.

Tweedlove in the uk is cancelled for 2025
That along with pmba races are the biggest enduros in that county
Enduro is dead
I expect some seismic change this off season for enduro
