What about back and up sweep? High bars can come with a larger angle on both that, in case of backsweep, actually moves the hands back again, again shortening the reach. Substantially, in the range of 30 to 40 mm compared to a standard backsweep of 8 degrees.
I had to watch the end several times to get everything that was going on but i laughed so hard!

High-stack Dak is back! I think at this point he's just trying to get his bike to do a Carolina Squat.
Honestly though, I think he's got a point. Inspired by him, I've lately been trying a taller stack of stem spacers + high-rise bars and it honestly feels amazing. So much confidence. Dak really might be onto something.
Any chance these are just old clips and photos? It appears as though he is still wearing the Intense branded Thor gear, and those look like TRP brakes? Possibly an M1 under there in pre production form from last winter?
