I'm an old guy from Spain. Three years ago I bought and ebike "to do some exercise". There's a small bikepark/trail network near my house. Got into some e-enduro and felt in love with them gravity things, so I started following the DH WC and EWS and got obsessed with all things MTB.
Last year I introduced a friend who is s trial-bike guy to the WC and he is now a fan too. Been feeding him snippets from this amazing thread about the "silly season".
Yesterday, he asked me:" any news from Mondraker?" Told him "the espionage things were getting out of hand and we were now analysing freckles " We have s mega laughing session. Btw, he tried his hand at the EFDA and concluded you were on point : " It's Dak, no doubt in my mind"
I wouldn’t be surprised if Gwin’s in a bit of a tight spot when you consider that he’s effectively a team owner without a title sponsor and now without his right hand man. Pretty much all of the brands that could afford Gwin are spoken for and I don’t see him slotting into someone else’s program at this point in his career. It would be amazing to see him take over as the yeti factory team for dh but if that doesn’t come together he’s probably going to be riding the frame he got paid to develop, but for free.

In my mind, it’s Intense with limited budget, Trek, or Yeti.
I will say that with Richie doing a few more WC events this year, maybe Yeti could add another rider to make those expenditures go a little further. But Gwin would be doing them a favor, because I highly doubt they’d pay his normal asking budget.
As much as Gwin wants to race, he could probably do a lot of other stuff and pay the bills just fine.
EFDA is up there with Jesse Melamed and the espresso machine Canyon shirt last year.

Has any one noticed that Ben Cathro & Aimi Kenyon in the new How to bike are riding MRP Forks. I thought the pinkbike Team is done. And the Last Season they were on Manitou.
