Where are Specialized and Trek 'places' in the US? Crestline is a 'thing' in California...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crestline,_California
Ahhh. Don’t mind me. I was thinking bike companies.
Is Ronan Dunne confirmed riding for a team yet? That rider with the handily placed banner is wearing goggle which look to be in the Irish colours.
Ronan was seen with Alpinstar Clothing and riding a Mondraker in BK's recent vlog from DYFI, would be a quick switch
hair under the helmet doesn‘t look red enough IMO, maybe just the shadow tough.
he's riding for Mondraker there's a picture of him riding his new bike at Dyfi bike park a few pages back. And, he doesn't have red hair.
Mondraker also posted up the TV pic which featured an Irish riders cartoon silhouette, could be oisin but my money's on Dunne
The "California" is in Yeti colors so that settles it!
Angel Suarez?
Dunne, Dak, Pinkerton... I love saying it.
wasn't that mentioned a while ago?
Ibis is a place in the USA
I think the Gwinner will be on nothing less than a frame that's proven itself in the last year or so. It will also need to be from a manufacturer that can quickly provide a fleet of bikes for his bike park. It will also make sense for him to opt for an American brand.
So I'm guessing he will be riding either a GT Fury or a Trek Session. Pon will probably keep the V10 exclusive to the Syndicate this year, so the Fury will have to be it.
Isn't Kona a Canadian brand?
Not anymore, they moved to Washington state quite some time ago.
They're also selling their current full-suspension inventory on a BOGO deal to try to generate cash flow, allegedly because they can't afford the payments necessary to get their new models released from the manufacturer. They don't sponsor any race teams any more, and they don't make a dedicated downhill bike. They're in no position to sponsor Gwin.
Winner!
they haven't kept the V-10 exclusive to the Syndicate in recent years. The Pinkbike team rode them last year...and they have a whole roster of "Free Agents" that they sponsor
Uh... I'm sure there are several zoos in the US who have ibises.
Brooklyn Machine Works coming back!
Ibi?
Charlie Harrison to Santa Cruz?
Woah. Marin stealth dropping a DH rig??!
I think you mean Park City - https://www.bicycleretailer.com/industry-news/2023/10/10/kona-bicycles-….
Well, Marin is more nameplace then something like Evil. Although, you could call quite a few places in the US "Evil". Humm. EVIL BACK TO DH?!?
YouTube chump Matt Jones has been on a proto Marin DH since last year, so this tracks. Wonder who the rider is ... just gonna say it -- Gwin?
Thibault Laly announced that they were riding for Goodman Santa Cruz this year, so even with Union on Trek(?) frames, there's at least one other team running the V10 aside from the Scyndicate.
Both Georgia Astle and Bas Van Steenbergen have posted saying they'll be riding for Outdoor Research now. Interesting to see a big outerwear company like them making a debut into the mountain bike world at this point in time.

The other site posted that OR was expanding into the mtb world back in July, but I think this is the first I've heard of them signing anyone. OR was also the title sponsor for Speed and Style at Crankworx in Whis.
