Don't wanna be a Debbie downer tonight, but that podium does nothing for sponsors! Who's gonna share that image? Ten people, two bikes. Much confusion. Or do others disagree?

If I'm Intense's marketing team I ain't sharing a photo with 9 other riders and a Giant in the shot. But that's just me. You can yap all you want about YouTube views. But the salaries, teams, infrastructure and focus of the worlds best riders is on World Cups and not on CWX DH. So ya.....cool one bud. I wasn't making any implications about WBD. I was just pointing out that I think 10 people on a podium is a terrible look. I'm quite a fan of MTBs 5 rider podium that WBD canned. But I ain't a fan of...

Just more people ride Rockshox? Its not a problem per se, its just the reality of a mass manufactured product and tolerance control. Other than companies like Intend, the big players simply don't have the labor time to perfectly burnish bushings for their forks, they fit tight bushings to prevent slop, and rely on break-in for it to improve over time. But yes, Fox, Dorado etc all have tight bushings from the factory, it is the best choice for their products.

assuming the RR sticker means that's from richie's bike, that fork probably is a prototype.

I'm 1000% behind the press conference idea. I eat up SX post-race conferences, as they always present a unique insight into the race and podium finishers. Would love to see World Cups pick up the idea and start doing the same thing. I'm excited to see these get refined throughout the rest of the year! Since I'm sure there aren't as many 'media' personnel at US races, it would be awesome to have fans ask a few questions, too. And big shoutout to everyone involved with the new series! What a time to be a #USDH racer.

I'm just going to throw it out there that maybe next year the Frameworks team should skip Wind rock. It's not been friendly to the the hips of Frameworks riders in 23 and 24.

Not sure about how I could be a troll? I simply asked a question.... Yes my account is new because I've never had a desire to patriciate in online forums. At some point your account was new as well.. does that mean your first post was you being a "troll".

Jorge Gomes was on the Gravity Coop podcast at the beginning of February. I don't remember him saying anything about altered plans or such for the year. Everything seemed good at that time, if I remember the interview correctly.

I really wonder about all the suspense surrounding Gwin's announcement, makes me think it 100% can't be Intense at the very least. I don't see a reason why he would wait THIS long to announce that he's keeping everything exactly the same, unless he is a real big drama queen or something. It must be a big change, I called it weeks ago and sticking with my first guess. HAS to be Yeti, I bet they are itching to take over the DH scene in the USA again.

Agreed, I can definitely feel a difference in the HSC settings on my 38. Too little and the front end will feel more knifey and oversteer in hard cornering. Too much HSC and the front end doesn't settle and kind of understeers in hard cornering/ heavy load situations. The point about rebound is moot IMO. My 38 even has the low rebound "traction tune" and I run it close to fully open. I have a factory 34 on a different bike, rebound is nearly fully open. I had a coil 40 on my old Glory, and I ran the rebound...
