Agreed, this looks like updated Privateer.  Especially given the bolt on cable clips on the head tube, the external routing for the rear brake, uber steep seat tube, and chonky main pivot bearings.  Looks like a pair of flip chips, one on the seatstay, and one at the rear axle (presumably for CS length).  I wonder if the first is for mullet setup, or just slacker.  Hard to tell if the rear wheel is 29 or 27.5 from that angle.  Must be close to finished because the chainstay protector looks like a finished product (not just mastic tape or VHS like protos get).

100% the new 161. That's Fergus Ryan's bike, he's a Privateer team rider and currently in Whistler.

Where's the Vivid? I can't be the only one hoping for a big DH product drop, boxxers vivid and the new brake all in one.

Spring 2024 at the earliest.

Definitely incorrect.

Old vivid I guess, as the old vivid coil is pictured right next to it with full description and imperial versions only.

The new boxxer was out in the wild for ~1.5 years maybe more (iirc) before they finally released it. New Vivid was only spotted this season. I wouldn't hold my breath. Especially with whole industry slowing down and lots of shops and companies overstocked.

I thoroughly enjoy being employed, just like the other people here who I know also know the embargo date and time.

Anyone at Crankworx Whistler? Apparently there is a WeAreOne prototype bike floating around.

The recent “limited edition” release would support that statement.

Looking pretty finished... hopefully not a 2024 release.

I can relate. Wouldn't notice the joke of I hadn't zoomed in to see if it says mineral oil only to do a double take at what it says 😂

Is that a laser etched padlock on the far side of the the comp assembly? Looks the same as the 23’ SDU I had.

Pretty sure he's in some murky Vancouver coffee shop doing spoken word poetry about lycra and Mini Coopers.

This one's been out for a while, PB published an entire article on it on June 9th.

This could just be a bad quality picture but it looks like the Bomber 58 is getting an update soon, perhaps 29er?

The lowers at least look like they have an arched crown like on all Fox forks.

Should NOT post pics from PB.  They literally rip off Vital all the time.  If people want to search and find their content on their own... fine.  But don't reward those pricks with a direct link on the Vital site.  Done nothing to earn it.

Probably just a 40 performance or performance elite with stickers

Does the pink site even still exist? I thought they got bought and shut down months ago? Why do we even still mention them?

Interesting little chain guide on Mick’s bike, presumably for HP chain slap.

Lower roller looks the same as the new slash, anyone knows who makes it ?32EC65DC-EF11-44A6-A826-652BA4046F43

Coil off a Push? Looks like it has the bulbous centre barrel shape.

All of the Vivids so far look to have been using piggyback assemblies that were originally lockout capable. Jack's and Vali's in particular.

Pisses me off that RS decided that I don't deserve a lockout lever because I run a 250x70 shock on 2023 SDUs. I hope I get the option here.
