This is besides the point of the chain drop discussion but I am always pretty impressed/surprised that a relatively small company like MRP has such a strong hold and presence in a market to the point where their product is on a very large amount of the bikes competing at the very top of the sport.

Not discounting MRP at all based off the size comment, it just seems that they are a small fish in a big pond(I think). Speaks volumes for their product.

We may be small compared to our big corporate peers, but we've proven time and time again an uncanny ability to strategize synergistic solutions into seamless ROI streams that converge into deliverables for visionary, blockchain-backed value-oriented stakeholders and iterate turn-key, scalable interfaces to drive benchmark results in dynamic markets.

But, truly, thanks. Smile
But what are you guys doing to promote synergy?

Who pays retail anyway?
For Sram parts? I'm guessing noone. MSRPs on Sram stuff are basically useless. Maaaaaaybe as a correlation with what is currently on offer.

SRAM: We'll make a part diameter 29.99 but our MSRPs completely random numbers like $1,107.

I just want to know if RS's new air spring will be available for the current 170 or 180mm Lyriks.

Select+ OEM models get full Charger RC2 instead of just RC! Nice to see

If you're only after an improvement to the air spring the Luftkappe is an excellent option. It may be more expensive than just retrofitting a new SRAM airspring though.

No, it won't fit older Pike and Lyrik chassis

Big price increase here for the lyrik Ultimate, however - im putting on on order, along with the a coil and the Ultimate trail shock, Does anyone know if the lyrik got a bump to 36mm stanctions?

I doubt it. There doesn't seem to be any point in increasing stanchion diameter by 1mm. The current Lyrik is already stiffer than the Fox 36 anyway.

What exactly is the point of bushing burnishing? You can only increase the diameter, but most of the forks I've seen have too much clearance as is. You can't really pull the bushing back to a smaller ID...

Or is it bushing replacement and burnishing it after inserting the new ones?

Some forks definitely come with too tight bushings, and sometimes it will even be the upper bushings are ok but the lowers are too tight. I had that happen, and the difference was night and day after the lower bushings got burnished.

yep, for example my zeb needed quite a bit of force to move it when i removed the damper and air spring.

The thing is the colinearity of the uppers and/or stanchions can also be a factor with these things... If the burnishing helped, then that's it. But yeah, like I said, considering what I've seen I never thought the bushings could be too tight. Point on only one being a problem though.

Depends on the price of the damper but I’d say your better off going with one of vorsprung’s upgrade options. I know it’s coil but I put the smashpot in my 38 and it’s night and day better. But there air spring options all seem to have great reviews and could be the cheaper/better option

There's an empty album on Kazimer's profile, but it's pretty easy to get the full res.
