Anyone know more about this?

Anyone know more about this?

Hmmm, I wonder if it's some sort of integrated tube. I have a set of Giant gravel/commuter tires on my early season gravel wheelset that has a thick AF integrated tube type thing between the beads. Almost like a tubular with tire beads. It's got sealant in it and it's been super tough. It's a bit heavier than tubeless but I have less issues with it and I was wondering if it would cross over at all.

I'm sure it was used 25 years ago for something else but I'd give it a try for a DH tire if it worked well.

My hope is for a solid tread pattern in black chili for the front of my enduro rig. I will have to search elsewhere if its going to be super heavy.

The trademark classification was simply listed funny on the website I was viewing. Class 12 does not specify that it is or isn't an inner tube device.

That's a new AXS Reverb too. The collar is different (not big chonky silver thing) and the battery part at the back under the saddle looks different.

I think it's a Float X based on the blue compression adjuster. Although I can't see the rebound knob, which is normally on this side, just below the compression adjuster.

That's an E-bike correct? Very chunky around the BB and it looks like it has the little Top Tube LED battery monitor thingy.

Kind of looks to me like a combination bracket to try different shock positions and also mount the bottle (since maybe proto frame doesn’t have mounts?) but idk

Kenevo SL is the Enduro

Levo (SL) is the Stumpy of sorts

You nearly have to look twice that the above is an eeb, Spec have really slim lined those chonky boi's.

Good eye for the Reverb. The fork is a Zeb, right? Still the old one, doesn't have the vent valves the FA stuff (and the 2022/23 chassis will have). And it does look like a Float X.

Unless it's something completely different?

As for the links, my first thought was Cascade components.

I don't think it's a Fox shock. Maybe it's a new Rockshox's prototype? The bike is fully kitted with Sram.

What’s wrong with the Kaiser? For a front tire for enduro it’s quite good imo. I ride them with cushcore xc on my hardtail.

Axs ”gx” reverb selling for 400 instead of 600 wouldn’t be a huge surprise given they came out with gx axs

I actually liked that one a lot in the dry, but I never found it great in the wet unless it could dig into a bit. They nearly killed me in Whistler once on wet, slick hard pack where a dhf/dhr would have held better and the corner knobs got weird/slidy on slick root steps because they were further apart. But in the dry, damn that tire could hold a line at speed.

Hoping this “korpetal” tech is possibly meant to fix that. Conti has the best rubber for a guy on a budget in my view and I’m a fan of their tread patterns particularly the cornering knobs. If they can get their construction to match the competition and offer their gravity treads in both dh and enduro casing they will have an awesome mtb program.

Nothin wrong with the kaiser, I rode it all of this season. It does leave a bit to be desired in terms of braking over loose terrain. Great dry/ hard pack tire though.

speaking of budget tires, i'm curious to see some longer term reviews on the new Delium tires.

Can't speak for long term yet, but I was gifted a Rugged and a Steady, both in All-Round construction, and I've been pretty happy with them. I've only had them on a few trails, but the trails are FULL of sharp rocks, some flat corners, and some tech features with hard g-outs. 22F/24R PSI with Tannus tubeless inserts, and no complaints. The Rugged isn't the fastest rolling tire, but the grip is predictable and consistent. The Steady definitely rolls faster, but not sure I'd say it's a fast roller. It's been tough enough so far, but I'm also curious how they'll hold up long term.

How do you like your mud tires from Conti?

Maybe I have been lucky but I am yet to experience any burping or leakage on my kaisers. the black chili does seem to be a bit harder than Maxxis but I think they feel just as good as maxxgrip on slippery stuff. might be an unpopular opinion...
