5/3/2022 8:20am Got my hands on a set of Kryptotals, was really loving them until the bead broke in the front. Randomly picked up a wobble and then the tire blew itself off of the rim. Anyone else have this experience? If anyone has any questions about them in general I would be glad to help out too

3/16/2022 5:41am Conti seems to have something going on today. Gee Atherton has taken over their insta stories and theres a picture of a line of bikes with their new tires. Onto of this all, they are alluding to a press conference of some sort for "something exciting". I am pretty pumped for these new treads.

2/8/2022 6:01am I found the current Conti tires to be a quality product and the black chili compound worked great. They were a bit lacking in aggressive treads which is what im hoping this remedies. I actually switched over because thicker casing maxis tires were ridiculously difficult to mount or unmount on my bontrager wheels.

2/7/2022 8:10pm I posted about this a few days ago, no solid info on what kryptotal is. There are trademarks for argotal and xynotal which were made at the same time. They have been testing what seems to be two different tread patterns which are pretty aggressive. In my rabbit hole, I noticed that kryptotal was written on both of the tread...

2/2/2022 10:23am How do you like your mud tires from Conti? Maybe I have been lucky but I am yet to experience any burping or leakage on my kaisers. the black chili does seem to be a bit harder than Maxxis but I think they feel just as good as maxxgrip on slippery stuff. might be an unpopular opinion...

2/2/2022 6:35am What’s wrong with the Kaiser? For a front tire for enduro it’s quite good imo. I ride them with cushcore xc on my hardtail.

2/2/2022 6:35am I actually liked that one a lot in the dry, but I never found it great in the wet unless it could dig into a bit. They nearly killed me in Whistler once on wet, slick hard pack where a dhf/dhr would have held better and the corner knobs got weird/slidy on slick root steps because they were further apart. But in the dry, damn that tire could hold a line at speed.

2/2/2022 6:35am Tbf to continental they have one of the best intermediate tires and mud spikes available. Though the baron could use a heavier casing for racing. Really my issue with conti is the construction while fine for trail riding had significantly more minor failures than maxxis or schwalbe particularly when it comes to burping air. Hoping this “korpetal” tech is possibly meant to fix that. Conti has the best rubber for a guy on a budget in my view and I’m a fan of their tread patterns particularly the cornering knobs. If they can get their construction to match the competition...

2/2/2022 6:33am Nothin wrong with the kaiser, I rode it all of this season. It does leave a bit to be desired in terms of braking over loose terrain. Great dry/ hard pack tire though.

1/31/2022 7:39pm The trademark classification was simply listed funny on the website I was viewing. Class 12 does not specify that it is or isn't an inner tube device.

1/31/2022 5:23pm My hope is for a solid tread pattern in black chili for the front of my enduro rig. I will have to search elsewhere if its going to be super heavy.

Here is what seems to be an update on Conti's new tire(s) aimed at the DH crowd. The treads have been known (link here) but this "Kryptotal" badge is a point of interest. a quick search brings up a trademark application dated November 2020, the description says "Tyres; Inner tubes for pneumatic tyres" which I think is a bit...
