Judging by earlier photos, the wheel and brake seem to both be mounted on a swingarm (single pivot), so the lower link with the 'Horst pivot' is probably just being used to drive the linkage.

Highish single pivot with no idler like my homemade DH bike. It puts the power down.

Nah, dual short links with the ic very near the BB. The benefit is that the links are relatively far away from the BB, giving a bit of freedom to move things around. Or to use a motor in there. The previous bikes used a BB concentric lower link which obviously wouldn't work for an ebike.

Any possibility for a vertical shock on the Commencal? Not really needed, but just an idea! :D Also, the photo’s quality isn’t high enough to confirm a horst-link at 100%... Sad

New GT DH bike seems to be the same frame as the prototype enduro Wyn has been riding lately, Im sure this is what Norco are also going to do have a DH frame that crosses over into the enduro

Unfortunate to see GT bringing the top tube way down, but still keeping the seat tube length longer than the reach.

New transition aluminum bikes are really exciting to look at. I hope there’s an aluminum Scout 150 coming soon that is basically a modern update of the V1 Patrol.

I saw Matt Walker and Eddie Masters on new Enduro bikes at Schladming. They were covered up like Angel's Commencal when I saw them tho. For sure that bike you talked about

I couldn't tell for sure, but I think 29 is more likely.
Only saw them for a few seconds, only thing I remember is a bright orange frame, sadly can't give any more info.

Don't think so. At least the new Boxxer is air sprung so I don't think the Zeb is coil.
