After years of dealing with Ghost's extremely bad/slow customer service at a shop level, its pains me to want that frame this much, it looks amazing. I still have PTSD moments of trying to route brake hose through the original RIOT when I see one but maybe they've figured it out this time..... but maybe they'll return my email about where our warranty frame is.... I'll be interested to see how this thing holds up.

Similar to how its better to drop body weight than bike weight, itsbetter to grow a mullet than build a mullet

They used to be, yeah. And Haibike was part of the group a while ago as well (don't know if they still are). Don't know if it still holds up, but considering the suspension system, I'd say they are still owned by the same owners.

As for 8pinns, considering how the whole cycling industry (not just MTB world) handles tolerances, I'm not sure I want an integrated seat post :D

Pedal standing up.

Imagine all manufacturers handling tolerances, making press fit work.

Dunno about the 8 pins. Change your peddles or shoes and you might have to buy a new one...

Yeah I head it too, sounds like a big deal. My guess is a double down hill or something heavier.

It is no secret they were working on some new tyres. If I remember correctly a new shorty, wet scream and a signature Blenki tyre is in the works. They’re probably being released at the sea otter 2021 event if that even happens or at the virtual pond beaver.

Aaron implied it was some sort of new tech. Perhaps that stuff the syndicate was testing with some sort of insert preformed into the tire

The answer to your question is "their DH bike", no idea what they are teasing though.

But isn’t Aaron working with Kenda?

Maxxis: Obviously it's some type of insert. The insert business is booming and margins are huge for those that are successful. Think about the amount of sales if Maxxis creates an insert that is on par or better with the current leaders (Tannus Tubless and Cushcore) and works 'better' or is already part of their tires. Huge for them.

Evil: Obviously it's the new Offering that Dave Weagle posted a few weeks ago.

I really hope Evil re-works the Calling. I think every brand needs to keep around a mid travel 27.5 playful/poppy bike.

Maxxis should have bought the SpinShield company when it was around. Best insert ever probably but never produced. It's also time they release the breaker tires Syndicate and others ran.

I tried making the YETI patent in Linkage. It just keeps throwing errors when the "new" switch system has too change direction. Looks really interesting though. hopefully this new linkage won't require the same amount of maintenance as the current one.
