It's a prototype 3D printed out of PLA plastic with metal rods in it for rigidity. It's a Dual link design that's quite similar to what is found on the Pivot phoenix.

It's my own 3D printed prototype frame. It's a dual link gearbox bike. It's currently got an incomplete rear triangle to make mounting the belt easier. If you remember I surveyed you guys about making a frame awhile ago and some of you wanted updates. I'll send some more photos when I start making the CNC'd version.

Is it just me or do these high pivot bikes only exist because of 29inch wheels? Back when we rode those microscopic 27.5 wheels you could run a really small BB drop which lets you get away with quite a high pivot without much chain growth. But these new 29ers need at least a 25mm drop reducing the amount of...

your right its not very accurate. However the general angles of the links can be seen giving a pretty good indication of the instant centre and subsequently the AS and AR. However the travel and LR is pretty much an unknown. I just assumed it was 150mm with a 210x55 shock.

made a quick and dirty Linkage model. from what I can see so far the linkage behaves a lot like a Stumpy Evo. Similarities include: - AR in the 50 to 60 range - almost no rearward axel path - firm initial AS with sudden reduction in the negatives - progressive LR similar to the enduro anyway it seems...

did any of you notice the Dropper? Considering One up has put so much effort into reducing stack at the clamp, maybe they will offer a 230mm model for the V3?
