As someone who, for 20+ years, got at least 1 new bike every year, I haven’t purchased a new bike in almost 3 years. I feel like 90% of bikes in the last 5 or so years have been great. So much so, that I’m actually considering buying the last gen Norco Optic as my next trail bike. Coming into 2026 I was convinced I would get a “New” full suspension frame this year. While I’m sure I’d be happy with the new Tallboy, Reya, or Ranger, it’s hard to justify the $$$$ for a new frame when I can...

my 2 cents after spending some time on the bike is that I really want to spend more time on the bike. A couple anecdotes here: I was surprised at how well it pedalled and the lack of heft that I was expecting after looking at it. After giving it back for a month I had to film on it with no time to get familiar again. First trail was a rapid North Van classic that I have ridden a bunch and I was immediately sending it. Alright so no race/number plates on after the race. Can't agree with that more take that thing off ASAP. But what about the blank number plates every Supreme V5 kids runs year round to display all their Deity stickers. That can't be ok either?

Can you please not drag your abrasive views on world situation into every damn topic? We're talking about bikes not world politics. As for the new Demo and Sram drivetrain thingamajiggy, will it be available for other brands besides Specialized too? Does it circumvent DWs twochainz patent?

Just a hunch, but I doubt Santa Cruz is letting YouTubers/Instagramers test out new stuff... especially with Specialized tires. Willing to put money that's just a XO RSV Bullit with a wrap on it.
