Maybe Unior is pulling out because it doesn’t make sense that Devinci would develop a new high pivot bike and not continue to race world cups. Perhaps Dak is waiting to hear if Devinci has a new co sponsor for 2021?

I wonder if Nina stays with her own team or if she gets an offer from a bigger team. Regarding team points she would be quite an asset for teams. But I do not know how important team rankings are to the teams.

Also there are more and more girls on the bikes and we men also like that. I also like to watch them race - because let's be honest - the top girls are faster than most of us.

So from a marketing perspective I think women racers become more and more interesting for companies. And I think people like Nina. She may not yet be on par with Myriam, Marine or Tahnée (when she's 100% fit again). But she got a win and also the run to second place yesterday was really good.

I also wonder if she could progress faster with teammates - or if the difference to the male riders is just too big.

Wasn't there something about Teams not able to win something or other if there isn't a woman on the team?

So Nina to the Syndicate might work if doing her own thing was just to make the year work.

It has seemed like that if a spot opens on the Syndicate, Nina is a top candidate... If two spots potentially open, I would be really surprised if she doesn't get one.. I figured it would be Greg retiring and Nina moving in, but things can change..

Yes! I can't remember it exactly but at least in one interview he gave the last days it sounded nothing like retiring.

With Minnar's former long time mech wrenching on Commencal's over at 100% and the fact that the 100% bikes roll on Fox suspension it seemed logical to me he'd be headed there at the end of the year while Jason was learning the intricacies of the Supreme,

Yes. But Nina and also Camille Balanche have been athletes for a long time. Long before they started downhill biking.

Haha ... I also sucked for almost 20 years. The good thing about starting low is that you can still get better at 45 yo Wink I mean when an almost 39 yo can win World Cups ...

I would be surprised if Trek picked up Amaury since he's such a wild man (not really their 'brand'). That said, I can't imagine Loris leaving the Syndicate but Trek isn't likely going to sign anyone outside the (about) top 5 overall in the world cup in 2019 so it's probably Amaury or Loris.

I saw an interview with Nina last weekend where she said she is on her own team by choice... I'm not so sure she is a top candidate.

I think as long as Greg wants to keep racing, The Syndicate will make him an offer... He's still a threat to win on any given race day..

I've seen that before, too... But, Santa Cruz might be giving her enough to keep her going and to keep her from signing with another team...

If Dakota Norton leaves Davinci any fancy Mark Wallace to go there in replacement?

Could Atherton racing take another Elite rider, their bikes are going public with the sale of shares. Surly they will want that bike on podiums next year? It would be a though ask to put it all on Rachel’s shoulders given how strong the woman’s field is and that’s she’s coming back to racing?

Also someone has to give Jamie Edmondson a ride for next year after his awesome results.

If Luca stays with the Syndicate I could see Dakota Norton going there because him and Luca are pretty good friends and Dak's results have been very good this year!

Crowd funding is not going public. Seems like they are just trying to get their business infrastructure going

CrowdCube they have set up is selling shares in the business at £11 a share? Is that not different to crowd funding?? But technicalities aside, my point is a bike getting podiums is going to get more investment than one that’s not, Surly? Would they not want to get someone in who can get them?

Possibly also the way Covid lockdown was run in SA meant no outdoor training for a long time period and it was strictly enforced. I suspect that Andorra rules are slightly easier regarding outdoor exercise (even after periods of 100% lockdown)
