'comes down to Leadership' & 'wrong people in place' - to me that reads as a jibe at Peaty because as I understand it, that is who Rob put in to replace Kathy S when she stepped back. Looking back to Loris and Luca moving on - in both cases there were rumours that Peaty was over bearing and treated...

I wonder if he'll have a similar deal to Brendan at Scott . Attached to the team but still able to bring along his own personal sponsors. I'd love to know who instigated this . If GM is still serious about getting top results , and I have no doubt he's capable of it , then Norco seems a less than obvious move . Specialized gravity or trek maybe , but I can't see Norco having the resources of those top teams .

I wonder if the reason for Greg leaving is related to Peaty being in charge - the working relationship between Kathy S and Greg was always strong and with Rob going, Greg has looked someone disconnected this year. He has hardly been in the Dialled productions for most of the season, his social media has been more about his life...

The you tube channel moved over to Santa Crus bikes at the start of 2023 so it has looked as though corporate branding had already started once RR was pushed out the door

18 pages into 2024 team rumours and PB have not yet been 'inspired' by the content to publish their investigative journalist based reporting on team rumours - must be a record

Mille's results weren't great last year, especially compared to the crop of juniors moving up to elite this year. Going to be nail biting for lots of the women now with only 10 spots in finals.

Pah to your reasonableness - if there was any reasonableness involved, do you really think this thread would be on page 59?

And with your Cannodale purchase you still get to give your money to that same ultra wealthy European family

Sven Garcia an acronym of Craig evans, along with one of his latest posts and someone else mentioning seeing him on a prototype slacker, basically confirms Craig on airdrop

Famously he loved the anarchic nature of the Syndicate because he believed that a fun relaxed enviroment brought the best out of riders. I wonder if come the end of the current set of contracts plus Greg's retirement if a duller, more serious marketing corporate marketing regime is introduced.

Any chance of making a separate Palmer fanboy moto stream? We all get how uninfluenced you guys are but I came here for this season's racing rumors and not to hear you live in the past.

Yep. And if you look at their other signings like Brad Simms, Fabio and the Japanese trials riders, it’s clear that their strategy is to expand the customer base beyond traditional markets, not to fight over the existing market. Whether that strategy will pay off or not, I don’t know, but it’s clearly the direction they’ve chosen to go.

This is the correct take in my opinion. Pilgrim is going to sell bikes for Canyon and at the same time he might be able to get back into competition on bikes built for the riding he wants to do. I don't know why he went with Haibike, they probably offered a sweet deal. But in the ensuing years the power of social media and his channel are clear, so Canyon is forking out the money to bring him on to help sell their products to youth a new riders. It's a great partnership for both of them.

The more significant part of the announcement for me was that he is leaving Cycling Sports Group after 15 years - assume that as part of the take over by PON they agreed to see out the contracts in place for a certain time period and are now clearing them out. Although Akrigg produces some fantastic content, much of it...

It is also worth recognising who Pilgrim appeals to vs racers/ex racers. Pilgrim has a large cut through with 'da yoof' - while I am not interested in his antics (late 40s), when I speak to my teenage nieces and nephews (all of whom ride), they are not overly interested in a video of some technical rock roll in Canada...
