Salivate over 16 super sick shots showcasing some seriously senseless Sam Hill schralping.

Photographs by Sven Martin unless otherwise noted.

This is downhill with Sam's flawless form. Sven's timing is perfect as Sam is hovering over the ground, leaned in with confidence and an ever-so-slight counter steer. Throw in the wheel spin blur from a calculated shutter speed and we have one epic photograph.

Motocross? Nope. Sam Hill on a downhill bike. PFFFFTTT! Schladming World Cup 2009.

Speechless. Hafjell, Norway World Cup 2012.

Some 10 years ago and the form is as recognizable as ever. Narrow bars, spikes, knee-shins, elbow pads, foot-out and eyes on the prize. Durango NCS, 2003. photo by gordo

Scrub-a-dub-dub. Mont Sainte Anne speed enhancer.

Take a break from racing, throw on a t-shirt and destroy Whistler 2006.

OK, back to hauling ass on the World Cup. Windham 2012.

Champery 2007. Never has a 3rd place finish at a World Cup meant so much. Every other top pro was struggling to get down the course in one piece, then Sam drops in and rides the steepest, muddiest race course of the year like it was dry. Pure Jedi mind shit!

Never has a 3rd place been so painful. Val di Sole World Champs, 2008. Sam was yards from the finish line, up on the current hot seat holder by 8 seconds and milliseconds after this epic drifting photo, it all fell apart. Sam couldn't hold the corner and washed out. His bike was stuck in a very hard gear and while he got up and pedaled to the finish, he couldn't make up the time in the crash. #TheWholeWorldWasGutted

Let's lighten the mood a bit with this pink TLD gear, this massive whip and the chimping photographer in the background oblivious to the awesomeness flying above his head. Fort William 2009.

More pink, more whips and more Fort William 2012.

More airtime please. Schladming 2008.

Wide bars, skinny trees, no problem. Mont Sainte Anne World Champs practice run. He won the rainbow stripes on a muddy, slogging course days later.

French Alps flying. Val d'Isere 2012.

Rocks and stumps fear the thunder. Val di Sole 2012

La Bresse, France World Cup. That guy screaming sums up the excitement of Sam Hill on a downhill bike. Here's to 2013!

Bonus 17th photo

Sven's Sam Hill slides from way back when. Just think of all the roost and debris flying within this jar as Sam's foot hangs off the pedal. Maybe someday we'll see the goods...

We can't wait to see Sam tear it up with Team CRC at the World Cups this year!
